Surat Al Dukhan
(The Smoke)
(Surah No 44)
1-59
Ha, Meem (1). 
[These letters are one of the Miracles of the Glorious Quran, and none but Allah (SWT) knows their meanings].
By the clear Book,
Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind] (3).
Verily We (SWT) Have Delivered (the Glorious Qur’an) during a Blessed night. Indeed We (SWT) were Warners to Humankind.
On that night is made distinct every precise matter (4).
On that discrete night, Allah (SWT), Decides on all matters relating to all humankind in the Sunnah of Allah (SWT), their living & death, their benevolence & their evil.
[Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]
Allah (SWT) Revealed the Glorious Qur’an containing Allah (SWT)’s Revelation & Legislation to inform humankind of His (SWT)’s Prophets & Messengers.
As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing (6).
As Mercy & Grace from Allah (SWT), Oh Muhammad (SAAS), He (SWT) Is The All Hearing & The All Knowing.
Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain (7).
Superior & Sovereign of the heavens & the earth and all Creation in-between, if you humankind would be certain & confident.
There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers (8).
There Is No God Other Than Allah (SWT). He (SWT) Grants life & Causes Death. Allah (SWT) Is humankind’s Superior & Sovereign & the Lord & Master of humankinds first forefathers.
But they are in doubt, amusing themselves.
However, the blasphemous disbelievers doubt Monotheism & Resurrection from Allah (SWT), entertaining themselves by doubt. 
Then watch for the Day when the sky will bring a visible smoke (10).
Hence, observe, Oh Muhammad (SAAS) when the sky introduces visible smoke. Allah (SWT) informs His Final Prophet & Messenger, That this smoke is amongst the signs of the “Hereafter”.
Covering the people; this is a painful torment (11).
Covering & encompassing humankind, tormenting & agonizing them with soreness.
[They will say], “Our Lord, remove from us the torment; indeed, we are believers” (12).
Humankind shall supplicate to Allah (SWT),” Oh Allah (SWT) Eliminate our agony for we are believers. They mediated for this appeal Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) promising him that they will become Muslims following the stride of Islam.
How will there be for them a reminder [at that time]? And there had come to them a clear Messenger (13).
How will they be reminded & advised particularly when a clear & Messenger (SAAS) has been revealed.
Then they turned away from him and said, “[He was] taught [and is] a madman”(14).
Later on the disbelievers turned their backs to him saying, despite “Muhammad (SAAS) enlightenment he is mentally ill.
Indeed, We will remove the torment for a little. Indeed, you [disbelievers] will return [to disbelief] (15).
Truly, We (SWT) Shall ease off their torment for a short while. However, the blasphemous disbelievers will revert to disbelieving.
The Day We will strike with the greatest assault, indeed, We will take retribution (16).
On the day, We (SWT) Shall Attack with Our Greatest Onslaught, Verily, We (SWT) Will Take Retribution.
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger
(17).
And We (SWT) had tested for strife & temptation the followers of the Egyptian Pharaoh, whom Allah (SWT) Delivered a Noble Messenger, Prophet Mousa.
[Saying], “Render to me the servants of Allah . Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger” (18).
Saying, Recognize & Deliver to me “Prophet Mousa” the Servants of Allah (SWT). Evidently, I am to you people a trustworthy messenger. 
And [saying], “Be not haughty with Allah . Indeed, I have come to you with clear authority (19).
And also saying “Do not be arrogant & proud with Allah (SWT). Verily, I – as a Prophet – have come to you Israelites with unquestionable authority. 
And indeed, I have sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me (20).
And actually, I have sought refuge in Allah (SWT) & your Lord to avoid the risk of you stoning me.
But if you do not believe me, then leave me alone” (21).
However, if for any reason you disbelieve me, then put me in isolation. 
And [finally] he called to his Lord that these were a criminal people (22).
Eventually, Prophet Mousa Supplicated to Allah (SWT) that those Israelites who kept track of him were literally criminal people.
[ Allah said], “Then set out with My servants by night. Indeed, you are to be pursued (23).
Allah (SWT) Commanded Prophet Mousa to set out with the Israelites by night, verily you are to be followed.
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned”(24).
And leave the sea calm & tranquil. Surly they are an army aimed to be drowned.
How much they left behind of gardens and springs (25).
They left a lot of gardens & sprigs behind them.
And crops & a gracious position (26).
And crops & a graceful, elegant position.
And comfort wherein they were amused (27).
And pleasure & comfort which amused them.
Thus. And We caused to inherit it another people (28).
And hence We (SWT) Caused to inherit it another people.
And the heaven and earth wept not for them, nor were they reprieved (29).
And neither the heavens nor the earth cried for them, nor were they reprieved or acquitted. 
And We certainly saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment (30).
And We (SWT) Evidently Saved the Children of Israel from the contemptuous torture & suffering.
From Pharaoh. Indeed, he was a haughty one among the transgressors (31).
Evidently the Egyptian Ruler, Pharaoh was arrogant & proud amongst the transgressors. 
And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds (32).
And We (SWT) Evidently Selected the Israelites with knowledge over all the world’s humankind.
And We gave them of signs that in which there was a clear trial (33).
And We (SWT) Provided the Israelites with the miracles of Prophet Mousa to observe their response.
Indeed, these [disbelievers] are saying (34).
Evidently, these blasphemous disbelievers are saying.
There is not but our first death, and we will not be resurrected (35).
It is not but our first death & subsequently we shall not be resurrected. 
Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful (36).
Hence if you happen to be truthful, then revive our forefathers from their grave.
Are they better or the people of Tubba’ and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals (37).
Are these people better or the people of Tubba (emulators & imitators) and those before them? We (SWT) Destroyed them all for their criminality.
And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play (38).
And We (SWT) Did Not Create the Heavens & Earth & All Creation in between for Amusement.
We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know (39).
We (SWT) Did Not Create them disregarding the truth; however the disbelievers are unaware.
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all (40).
Verily, Judgment Day is What Allah (SWT) Appointed in time for all humankind.
The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped (41).
The Day in the Hereafter where no relation shall help humankind nor will there be assistance.
Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful (42).
Excluding those Muslim Believers upon whom Allah (SWT) Has Granted Mercy. Truly, He (SWT) is Mighty & Merciful.
Indeed, the tree of Zaqqum (43).
Evidently, the Zaqqum Tree.
Is food for the sinful (44).
Is food for the sinful humankind.
Like murky oil, it boils within bellies (45).
Like muddy & murky oil, boiling within human stomachs.
Like the boiling of scalding water (46).
Similar to the sizzling boiling hot water.
[It will be commanded], “Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire (47).
Allah (SWT) Shall Command His Angles to apprehend humankind & likes of them into the interior the Hellfire. 
Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water (48).
Later on pour over his head (& others similar to him), the torment & agony of scalding boiling water.
[It will be said], “Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble (49).
Allah (SWT) Shall Say, Taste ! Verily it is you who is honored, the noble.
Indeed, this is what you used to dispute (50).
Evidently, this is the Torment which you suspected when you where in your earthly lifetime.
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place (51).
Factually, the Righteous Muslims shall & will occupy a secure place & position (in the Hereafter).
Within gardens and springs (52).
Those Righteous Muslims shall dwell within inside gardens & springs on Judgment Day.
Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other (53).
Facing each other wearing clothing of fine silk & embroidery.
Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes (54).
And hence We (SWT) Shall Wed them to beautiful looking women having large eyes.
They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit – safe and secure (55).
These Righteous Muslims will call therein for every type of fruit safe & secure.
They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire (56).
They will not taste death therein except their first death, and He (SWT) would have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.
As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment.
As Generosity from Allah (SWT). That is Allah (SWT) Supreme Success.
And indeed, We have eased the Qur’an in your tongue that they might be reminded (58).
And truly, We (SWT) Have Facilitated the Glorious Qur’an in your tongue Oh Muhammad (SAAS) in order that your Muslim followers might be reminded. 
So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end].
Hence observe Oh Muhammad (SAAS) the blasphemous disbelievers for they are awaiting your demise & termination Oh Prophet Muhammad (SAAS).
