Surat Azzukhruf
(The Ornaments of Gold)
(Surah No. 43)
Ayat 1-89
Ha, Meem (1). 
[These letters are one of the Miracles of the Glorious Quran, and none but Allah (SWT) knows their meanings].
By the clear Book (2).
By the Blessed Book (The Glorious Qur’an).
Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand (3).
Factually, We (SWT) Have Made It An Arabic (Language) Glorious Qur’an that you Arabic speaking people might comprehend.
And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom (4).
And indeed it is in the “Preserved Tablet” with Allah ( SWT ) Exalted & Full of Wisdom.
Then should We turn the message away, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people? (5).
Then Should We (SWT) Turn the Message of Islam away disregarding you since you are infringing, violating people ?
And how many a prophet We sent among the former peoples (6).
And how many a prophet Have We (SWT) Delivered to the previous nations.
But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him (7).
However, no prophet would arrive to them unless they used to mock & ridicule.
And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded (8).
And We (SWT) Eliminated greater than them in striking power & the example of the former peoples has preceded. Their examples are clearly mentioned in the Glorious Qur’an.
And if you should ask them, “Who has created the heavens and the earth?” they would surely say, “They were created by the Exalted in Might, the Knowing”(9).
And if you Muhammad (SAAS) asked them, “ Who Is the Creator of the Heavens & the Earth” ? They would evidently & surely say, they were Created By the Almighty, the Exalted Allah (SWT).
[The one] who has made for you the earth a bed and made for you upon it roads that you might be guided (10).
Allah (SWT) Who Has Made for humankind the earth as a bed, establishing upon it roads, pathways & the like for guidance.
And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land – thus will you be brought forth (11).
And Allah (SWT) Sends down rain from the sky in prescribed amounts, thereby reviving the dead land, and so shall humankind be brought forth.
And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount (12).
And Allah (SWT) Created All Living Species (Including Humankind) and has made for you ships to travel in the seas & four-legged animals for travelling on land.

That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. “Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it (13).
Once you humankind secure yourselves upon the backs of the four-legged animals, remembering the favor of Allah (SWT) when you have settled upon them, saying, “Exalted is He (SWT) Who Has Subjected these (animals & ships) to humankind, and we would not have had the power & ability to subdue them.
And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return” (14).
And evidently & factually, We (humankind) will certainly return to Allah (SWT).
But they have attributed to Him from His servants a portion Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful (15).
However, the disbelieving humankind have attributed to Allah (SWT) a portion. Truly, humankind is evidently ungrateful & suspicious.
Or has He taken, out of what He has created, daughters and chosen you for [having] sons? (16).
Or Has Allah (SWT) acquired out of what He (SWT) Has Created, daughters & Selected you humankind for begetting sons.
And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief (17).
And if & when one of the disbelieving humankind is given glad tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
So is one brought up in ornaments while being during conflict not evident [attributed to Allah ]? (18).
Thus is a humankind brought up in ornaments (human females) while upon struggles & strife Commanded by Allah (SWT), they are not obvious or evident.
And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.
And the blasphemous disbelievers dared to make the Angels who are Servants of Allah (SWT), the Most Merciful females. Have or Did they witness their Creation? Their attestation shall be noted & they will be questioned on Judgment Day.
And they said, “If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them.” They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying (20).
And the blasphemous disbelievers further said, “if Allah (SWT) the Most Merciful Had Willed, we would not have worshipped the Angles. They have no knowledge of that. Surly they are the fakers.
Or have We given them a book before the Qur’an to which they are adhering? (21).
Or Have We (SWT) Delivered a book before the Glorious Qur’an to which they are abiding to?
Rather, they say, “Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are in their footsteps [rightly] guided” (22).
Preferably, the blasphemous disbelievers would say, we encountered our fathers believing in a religion to which we are following the footsteps thereof.
And similarly, We did not send before you any warner into a city except that its affluent said, “Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are, in their footsteps, following” (23).
Likewise, We (SWT) did not deliver before you, Oh Muhammad (SAAS) into a community whose affluent “said verily we found our fathers upon a religion & we follow in their footsteps”.
[Each warner] said, “Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?” They said, “Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers.”
Their messenger said,” What if I brought you guidance better than you found your fathers?” Their reply was, evidently, we are disbelievers in that which was delivered by you.
So we took retribution from them; then see how was the end of the deniers (25).
Thus We (SWT) Punished & Penalized them. Observe Oh Muhammad (SAAS) how was the ending of the deniers.
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, “Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship (26).
And mention Oh Muhammad (SAAS) to your Muslim followers about Prophet Ibraheem when he said to his father and his people, “As a matter of fact, I am distancing myself from that which you worship.
Except for He who created me; and indeed, He will guide me” (27).
Apart from Allah (SWT) Who Created me; and surely, He (SWT) Shall Guide me.
And he made it a word remaining among his descendants that they might return [to it] (28).
And Prophet Ibraheem made it a word upheld amongst his descendants that they would return to. There is no deity except Allah (SWT) Creator & Proprietor of the Heavens & the Earth.
However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger (29).
Having said that, I Allah (SWT) Granted those people of Makkah & their fathers until there arrived to them the Truth & a Clear Message [Muhammad (SAAS) &The Glorious Qur’an].
But when the truth came to them, they said, “This is magic, and indeed we are, concerning it, disbelievers.”
However, once the truth from Allah (SWT) arrived to blasphemous disbelievers, they said, “This is magic & because of that we are regarding it, disbelievers”.
And they said, “Why was this Qur’an not sent down upon a great man from [one of] the two cities?”(31).
The blasphemous disbelievers went on to say,” Why was this Quran not delivered to a great man (from amongst us) from one of the two cities (Makkah or Al Ta’if) in Arabia ?
Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate (32).
Oh Muhammad (SAAS) do the blasphemous disbelievers have the ability of distributing the Mercy of Allah (SWT)? It is Allah (SWT) Who Has Determined amongst them their livelihood in this earthly lifetime, raising some above others in level & rank. However, the Mercy of Allah (SWT) is Superior to whatever they gather & stockpile.
And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful – for their houses – ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount (33).
And provided that humankind would end up as a single disbelieving community, We (SWT) would have Made for the disbelievers in the Most Merciful to their houses ceilings & stairways of silver upon which they show-up.
And for their houses – doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline (34).
And for the houses of the blasphemous disbelievers are doors & reclining couches made of silver.
And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous (35).
And Gold Ornaments. However, all of this no more than the gratification of the worldly lifetime. And the Hereafter, Oh Muhammad (SAAS) with Allah (SWT) belongs to the righteous humankind.
And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful – We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion (36).
And whosoever from humankind dwells blinded from the remembrance of the Most Merciful, We (SWT) Shall Designate a Shaytan who becomes his companion.
And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided (37).
And factually, the Shaytan & his companions distract humankind from the path of guidance while they assume & believe that they are deservedly guided.
Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his companion], “Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west – how wretched a companion.”
Up till when humankind arrives at the Day of Judgment, he / she say to their companions, “ Oh, we wish there existed a distance between the east & west, separating us, how miserable & deplorable a companion.”
Ment Day
And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment (39).
And on Judgment Day, when you where unjust having wronged humankind, in that you are all sharing in the chastisement & torment.
Then will you make the deaf hear, [O Muhammad], or guide the blind or he who is in clear error? (40).
And thus will you Oh Muhammad (SAAS) make the deaf hear, or guide the blind, or those who are in clear aberrance ?
And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them (41).
And whether or not We (SWT) take you Oh Muhammad (SAAS) through death, verily We (SWT) Shall Take Revenge from them.
Or whether [or not] We show you that which We have promised them, indeed, We are Perfect in Ability (42).
If or not We (SWT) Show you Muhmmad (SAAS) that which We (SWT) Have Promised them. Verily, We (SWT) Have the Perfect Ability over the nonbelievers. And it was [before your death Oh Muhammad (SAAS)] that We (SWT) Made you witness to their penalty, & that was during the Battle of Badr.
So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path (43).
Hence Oh Muhammad (SAAS) Abide & Adhere to the Glorious Qur’an Revealed to you. You are stepping on a straight path.
And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned (44).
And verily, (the Glorious Qur’an) is a remembrance (& reminder) for you and for your Muslim followers, & you shall all be questioned.
And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped? (45).
And Oh Muhammad (SAAS) ask those Messengers We (SWT) Delivered before you, Did We (SWT) make gods & deities for worshipping other than the Most Merciful ?
And certainly did We send Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, “Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds” (46).
And We (SWT) Delivered Prophet Mousa with Our Ayat to Pharaoh & His Organization, He said, “truly I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds”.
But when he brought them Our signs, at once they laughed at them (47).
However, once Pharaoh brought them Our Ayat, they at once started laughing at them.
And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith] (48).
And We (SWT) showed them Ayat, each greater than its sister, Seizing them with calamity & disaster, that maybe they might return to faith.
And they said [to Moses], “O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided”(49).
And the said to Prophet Mousa, “Oh magician, call for us your Lord, through what He (SWT) Has Promised you, verily we shall be guided.
But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word (50).
However, upon Removing the calamity & disaster, readily they unknowingly broke their word.
And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, “O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see? (51).
And Pharaoh summoned his people saying, ”Oh my followers, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, & these rivers are flowing underneath me, hence do you not observe ?
Or am I [not] better than this one who is insignificant and hardly makes himself clear?
Or am I (Pharaoh) not better & preferable than this one (Prophet Mousa) who is barely significant & obvious.
Then why have there not been placed upon him bracelets of gold or come with him the angels in conjunction?”
Thus, “why Prophet Mousa (Being a Holy humankind) not have gold bracelets placed upon him, or were the angles simultaneously arriving with him?”
So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allah ] (54).
Therefore, Pharaoh deceived his followers & they obeyed him. Verily, they themselves were humankind who were defiant & disobedient of Allah (SWT). Repudiating & disbelieving Prophet Mousa.
And when they angered Us, We took retribution from them and drowned them all (55).
And once they were sorry & having angered Allah (SWT), We (SWT) Took Revenge from them and drowned all the Pharaoh followers all together.
And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples (56).
And We (SWT) Made them a preamble & a paradigm for later generations.
And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud (57).
And when Issah the Son of Mariam was offered as an example, your people Oh Muhammad (SAAS) started laughing audibly & loudly.
And they said, “Are our gods better, or is he?” They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument. But [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute (58).
And the blasphemous disbelievers said, “ Are our gods better or is Muhammad (SAAS)?” They evidently did not present the comparison for you Oh Muhammad (SAAS) except for excuse. Actually, they are people liable & inclined to dispute.
Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel (59).
Allah (SWT) Responded, “Issah the Son of Mariam was not but a Servant of Allah (SWT) upon whom We (SWT) Bestowed Favor & Mercy. Making Prophet Issah an example for the Children of Israel.
And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth (60).
And thus if We (SWT) Desired, We (SWT) Would Have Made Alternatively of You Angles succeeding sequentially one another on the earth.
And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path (61).
And truly, Prophet Issah shall be a signal of Awareness of the Hereafter. Thus have no doubt of the Existence of the Hour & follow Prophet Issah & Monotheism & Stay far away from Polytheism.
And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy (62).
And Oh humankind never allow Al Shaytan to prevent you from Submitting to Allah (SWT). Verily, he is your obvious & doubtless enemy.
And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me (63).
And once Prophet Issah showed his followers clear proofs, he told them, “I have come to you with intellect, prudence & foresight to offer you clarity over the Holy Christian Bible over which you differ, hence fear Allah (SWT) & obey me.
Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path” (64).
Thus Prophet Issah said to his followers Allah (SWT) Is my God & your God, thus Worship Him (SWT), His Path The True & Straight Path.
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day (65).
However, the divisions & disbelieving parties differed amongst themselves and separated into parties, groups & sects. Hence woe to those who have been unjust from a painful Day in the Hereafter.
Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not? (66).
Are the blasphemous disbelievers exclusively awaiting for the Hereafter arrival to suddenly surprise them while they do not perceive it.
Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous (67).
On Judgment Day, close humankind friends shall be enemies to one another except for the righteous practicing Muslims.
[To whom Allah will say], “O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve (68),
Allah (SWT) Will Say to the Righteous, Oh My Servants, No fear shall be regarding you on this Day, Nor will you be Grieving.
[You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims (69).
Those humankind who believed in Our Ayat from the Glorious Qur’an & were Muslims following Prophet Muhammad (SAAS).
Enter Paradise, you and your kinds, delighted”(70).
Enter Jannat (Paradise), you & your similar in kinds gratified & gladdened.
Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally (71).
Circulating amongst them are plates & vessels made of gold. And in it is whatever humankind souls desire & their eyes rejoice at, abiding therein eternally.
And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do (72).
And that is Jannat (Paradise) which you Muslim Believers in Allah (SWT), In the Glorious Qur’an & in Prophet Muhammad (SAAS), will inherit in response to what you perpetratd in your worlly lifetime.
For you therein is a lot of fruit which you will eat (73).
In Jannat (Paradise) humankind who have won Allah (SWT)’s Mercy & Grace will eat lots of fruits.
Indeed, the criminals will be in the punishment of Hell, abiding eternally (74).
Factually, the blasphemous criminals shall receive chastisement of the Hellfire, remaining therein eternally.
It will not be allowed to subside for them, and they, therein, are in despair (75).
For those blasphemous disbelievers, no allowance will be given to them, remaining therein despairingly.
And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers (76).
And We (SWT) did not unjustly treat them, however it was they who were unjustly treating themselves.
And they will call, “O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!” He will say, “Indeed, you will remain” (77).
And the blasphemous disbelievers called upon Malik (the Keeper & Guardian) of Hell to be an intermediary with Allah (SWT) to put an end to their torment in the Hellfire! Allah (SWT) Will Reply Verily, “you blasphemous disbelievers shall remain in the Hellfire. 
We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse (78).
We (SWT) Had Evidently Presented you with the Truth, however most of the blasphemous disbelievers. But they were auspicious & adverse.
Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan] (79).
Or have the blasphemous disbelievers devised a cunning ploy against the Prophet of Islam Muhammad (SAAS)? However, We (SWT) are Conceiving a plan.
Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording (80).
Or do the blasphemous disbelievers believe that We (SWT) Are Unable to Hear their private & confidential conversations ? Affirmatively, We (SWT) Do, with our Messengers recording their conversation.
Say, [O Muhammad], “If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers” (81).
Tell your Muslim followers Oh Muhammad (SAAS), “If The Most Merciful Had a Son, then, I would evidently be amongst the first of His Worshippers (SWT).
Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe (82).
Glorified & Exalted Is Allah (SWT) Lord of the heavens & the earth, Sovereign of the Throne. Allah (SWT) Is Above what the blasphemous disbelievers claim that He (SWT) Has Begotten A Son.
So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised (83).
Thus, Oh Muhammad (SAAS) abandon them to argue & converse in vain until they face the day they are pledged.
And it is Allah who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity. And He is the Wise & Knowing.
And It Is Allah (SWT) Who Is The Only God in the Heavens & On the Earth. And He (SWT) Is the All Wise & All Knowledgeable.
And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned (85).
And Precious Is He (SWT) To Whom Belongs the Dominion of the Heavens & the Earth & What lies between them in space & with Whom lies The Knowledge of Hereafter & to Whom humankind shall be Returned.
And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know (86).
And those humankind who invoke other than Allah (SWT) have no power of intermediation, except those who witness the truth are able to benefit & they are aware.
And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, ” Allah .” So how are they deluded ? (87).
And upon asking those atheistic unbelievers, Oh Muhammad (SAAS) who Created them ? They would definitely say Allah (SWT). Thus how are they deceived ?
And [ Allah acknowledges] his saying, “O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe” (88).
And Allah (SWT) Affirms to Prophet Muhammad (SAAS) His Saying, “Oh Allah (SWT) truly & affirmatively these are people who are blasphemous disbelievers”.
So turn aside from them and say, “Peace.” But they are going to know (89).
Hence, Oh Muhammad (SAAS) turn away from them saying “Peace”. However, they shall come to know of what they had perpetrated in their lifetimes.
