Fat’h Al Qadeer Qur’an Exegesis

Surat Al Hijr (The Rocky Tract) (Surah No 15)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah the Compassionate, the Merciful
الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ.(1)
Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses (Ayat) of the Book [(See for Example Suwar # 10 Yunus ; # 11 Houd; # 12 Yusuf ] and a clear Qur’an (1).
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ(2)
Perhaps those who disbelieve will wish that they had been Muslims (2).
(Alif, Lam, Ra [As Previously Mentioned In The Prelude Or The Beginning Of The Previous Suwar [# 10 Surat Yunus, # 11 Surat Houd, # 12 Surat) Yusuf]. Imam Al Qurtubi (*) Affirms That These Singular Arabic Letters Are (Both The Mystery and Secret of Allah (SWT) in the Glorious Qur’an).
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُون(3)
Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know (3).
Let Those (Blasphemous Disbelievers) Eat and Be Merry, Being Inspired By Falsehood For They Shall Come To Know.
(*) Imam Al Qurtubi Was An Andalusian Jurist, Islamic Scholar & Muhaddith.
وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُوم(4)
And We (SWT) did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree (4).
And We (SWT) Did Not Annihilate and Utterly Destroy Any City Or Village Except That It Had A Commandment & Proclamation.
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ(5)
No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter (5).
No Nation Shall Precede Its Existence Nor Shall They Reside & Dwell Thereafter.
وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ(6)
And they say: “O you upon whom the message has been sent down, indeed you are mad” (6).
And They (The Blasphemous Disbelievers) Said:” O You (Muhammad) Whom The Message (The Glorious Qur’an) Was Revealed To, You Are Truly Insane”.
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ(7)
Why do you not bring us the angels, if you should be among the truthful? (7)”
If You (Oh Muhammad) Happen To Be Sincere & Genuine, Then Call Upon The Angles As Proof For Us.
مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ(8)
We do not send down the angels except with truth; and the disbelievers would not then be reprieved (8).
We (SWT) Do Not Descend Our Angles Down To Earth Except In Truth; And The Blasphemous Disbelievers Would Then Not Be Postponed From Allah (SWT)’s Torment And Punishment, Nor Would His Punishment (SWT) Be Cancelled.
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ(9)
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an and indeed, We will be its guardian (9).
Verily, It Is We (SWT) Who Sent Down The Glorious Qur’an (Revealing It To Humanity Through The Messenger Of Islam, Muhammad) & It Is We (SWT) Who Are Its Custodian & Guardian.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِين(10)
And thus Oh Muhammad, We (SWT) sent before you the sects of the former peoples (10).
And It Was We (SWT) Who Sent Messengers From Previous Denominations
Before You Oh Muhammad, Prophet & Messenger Of Islam.
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ(11)
And no messenger would come to them except that they ridiculed him (11).
And No Messenger Who Proclaims His Message To The People, Unless He Is Mocked & Made Fun Of.
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ(12)
Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals (12).
Therefore, We (SWT) Will Introduce Repudiation & Rebuttal Into The Hearts Of The Criminals.
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ(13)
They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples (13).
The Blasphemous Shall Not Believe In The Revelation [(The Message Of Muhammad; The Glorious Qur’an)]. While There Has Already Transpired & Materialized In The Previous Generations.
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ(14)
And [even] if We opened to them a gate from the heavens and they continued therein to ascend (14),
And If & When We (SWT) Open Upon Them A Gate From The Heavens, They Remain With Their Ascension.
لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ(15)
They would say, “Our eyes have only been dazzled. Rather, we are a people affected by magic “(15).
They Would Say, “Our Vision Has Been Dazed. Indeed We Are Influenced By Magic”.
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ(16)
And We have placed within the heavens great stars and have beautified it for the observers (16).
And We (SWT) Created In The Heavens Huge Stars Beautifying Them For The Onlooker & Eyewitness.
وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ(17)
And We (SWT) have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] (17).
And We (SWT) Have Protected These Huge Stars From Al Shaitan Al Rajeem [(All Devils Expelled & Ejected) From The Mercy Of Allah (SWT) & All Those Who Follow Them In Their Belief & Actions].
إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ(18)
Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame (18).
Except Those Who Eavesdrop And Follow Their Action By A Shooting Star.
وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ(19)
And the earth – We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing (19).
And We (SWT) Spread The Earth In Its Spherical Form, Casting & Firmly Shaping Its Mountains. And Causing Everything To Grow In A Balanced Way.
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ(20)
And We (SWT) have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers.
And We (SWT) Provided For You (Humankind) Therein Means Of Existence As Well As For Those Whom You Are None Sustainers.
وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ(21)
And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure (21).
And There Is Nothing But That We (SWT) Are Its Treasure Repository And We (SWT) Do Not Release It (Down To Earth) Except According To An
Exact Measure & Magnitude.
وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ(22)
And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers (22).
And We (SWT) Have Delivered The Winds As Plant Food. Then Transmitting Water From The Skies For Humankind And Domestic Animals To Drink & We (SWT) Are Their Ultimate Retainers.
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ(23)
And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor (23).
And Verily We (SWT) Grant Life & Bring About Death And We (SWT) Are The Ultimate Inheritors Of Humankind (And All Animals & Beasts).
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ(24)
And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come] (24).
And Verily We (SWT) Know Who Has Precedence In Birth & Death. [And Al Hasan Bin Ali [One Of Cousins Of Prophet Muhammad (May Allah (SWT) Be Pleased With Him Interpreted This Ayah As] “Those Muslims Who Have Precedence In Worshipping Allah (SWT) Compared With Those Who Are Latecomers In Their Submission To Allah (SWT)].
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ(25)
And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing (25).
And It Is Your Lord (SWT) Who Shall Gather Humankind For Judgement Day, He (SWT) Is The Wise & Knowledgeable.
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ(26)
And We (SWT) created man out of clay from an altered black mud (26).
And We (SWT) Created Humankind From Dry Soil And Ancient Sludge.
وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ(27)
And the Jinn, We created before from scorching fire (27).
And The Jinn (Al Shaytan Al Rajeem) We (SWT) Created Before Humankind From Blazing Hell Fire.
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ(28)
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud (28).
And Mention Oh Muhammad Messenger Of Islam, When Your Lord Allah (SWT) Said To The Angles I Shall Create Humankind From Baked Black Clay.
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ(29)
And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration (29).
And So, Once I (SWT) Created Him (Humankind) And Breathed Into Him From My Soul Then Make Sujood (Prostration) To Him.
فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ(30)
So the angels prostrated – all of them entirely (30).
And Thus All The Angles (In Their Entirety) Made Sujood To The Humankind Created By Allah (SWT).
إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ(31)
Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated (31).
Excluding Ib’lees [The Chief of Al Shay’ateen (Plural Of Al Shaytan)] Who Refused To Obey The Command Of Allah (SWT) And Make Sujood.
قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ(32)
Allah (SWT): Said, Oh Ib’lees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate? (32).
Allah (SWT) Said To Ib’lees: “Why Are You Not Making Sujood Like All The Other Angles? Ib’lees Replied:” I Will Not Make Sujood To Humankind Whom You Created From Baked Black Clay”.
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ(33)
He said, “Never would I prostrate to a human whom You created out of clay from an altered black mud”(33).
Ib’lees Replied:” I Will Not Make Sujood To Humankind Created From Baked Black Clay”.
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ(34)
Allah (SWT) Ordered Ib’lees To Be Expelled From Al Jannah For He Was Damned & Cursed.
Allah (SWT) Commanded Ib’lees (And All His Followers) To Be Damned & Expelled From Al Jannah (Paradise).
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ(35)
And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense (35).
And Verily Upon Ib’lees (Ib’lees & His Followers) Is The Curse & Condemnation Until The Day Of Judgment.
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ(36)
He said, “My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected.”(36).
Ib’lees Said: Oh My Lord Allah (SWT) Postpone & Defer My Punishment And Torment Until Judgment Day.
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِين(37)
[Allah] said, “So indeed, you are of those reprieved” (37).
Allah (SWT) Replied Ib’lees:” You Are Amongst Those Whose Punishment Is Postponed.
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ(38)
Until the Day of the time well-known (38).
Until The Well Known Resurrection Day In Which All Allah (SWT)’s Creation Rise To Judgment Day In The Hereafter.
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ(39)
[Iblees] said, “My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all (39).
Ib’lees Said Oh My Lord Allah (SWT) Since You Enticed Me, Then I Shall Definitely Seduce Your Creation Into Insurgency, Rebellion & Intransigence.
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ(40)
Except, among them, Your chosen servants (40).
Except Your Servants Who Are Sincere And Loyal In Their Worship To You Oh Allah (SWT).
قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ(41)
Allah said, “This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight (41).
Allah (SWT) Said To Ib’lees:” This Is A Straight Path Of Return To Me & You Ib’lees Have No Power Or Authority Over Humankind.
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ(42)
Indeed, My servants – no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators (42).
Allah (SWT) Said: Verily You (Ib’lees) Have No Power Or Dominion Over My Servants Who Truly Worship Me Except Those Who Seduce & Deceive My Worshipers.
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ(43)
And indeed, Hell is the promised place for them all (43).
And Verily Thalamus (Hellfire) Is Their Collective Gathering Place.
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ(44)
It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated (44).
This Thalamus Consists Of SEVEN GATES [Each Gate for Humankind (Who Followed Ibl’ees In Their Lifetime] And Due To The Sheer Numbers Of Evil Humankind, Allah (SWT) Created Seven Gates Of Hell To Receive & Enter Them.
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ(45)
Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs (45).
Verily, The Pious (Worshippers In Their Lifetime) Shall Be In Gardens & Springs In The Hereafter.
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ(46)
[Having been told], “Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]” (46).
Allah (SWT) Welcomed Them Into Al Jannat & Springs Thereof, Entering In Security & Peace.
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ(47)
And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other (47).
And We (SWT) Removed From Their Chest Indignation, Anger & Outrage In Order That They Become Brothers In Religion & Sympathy Facing Each Other In Al Jannat.
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ(48)
No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed (48).
No Tiredness Or Fatigue Touches Them Therein Nor Will They Be Ever Expelled (From Al Jannat).
نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ(49)
[O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful (49).
Oh Prophet Of Islam, Muhammad, Inform My Worshipers That It Is I (SWT) Who Is The All Forgiving, The All Merciful.
وَأَنَّ عَذَابِي هُوَ الْعَذَابُ الْأَلِيمُ(50)
And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment (50).
And That My Punishment With Torment (To The Non-Believers Of My Existence & Creation] Is The Painful Punishment.
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَن ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ(51)
And inform them about the guests of Abraham (51)
And Tell Them About The Guests Of The Father Of Muslim Prophets, Ibrahim [Alyhi Al Salam] (Peace Be Upon Him) Who Were Visited By The Angels (In The Form Of Humans) With The Purpose Of Illustrating To Him “Human Fear & Hope”, Thus Comprehending That This Is Allah (SWT)’s Sunnah In His Creation.
إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمْ وَجِلُونَ(52)
When they entered upon him and said, “Peace.” [Abraham] said, “Indeed, we are fearful of you”(52).
Once The Angles Entered To Ibrahim, They Said:” Peace “. Ibrahim
Replied “: Verily, We Are Terrified & Worried Of You.
قَالُوا لَا تَوْجَلْ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِيمٍ(53)
[The angels] said, “Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy“ (53).
The Angles Replied:” Have No Fear Oh Ibrahim. Verily We Give You Glad Tidings Of A Knowledgeable Young Boy”. [Which Prophet Ibrahim Named: Is’haaq (Isac).]
قَالَ أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِي عَلَىٰ أَن مَّسَّنِيَ الْكِبَرُ فَبِمَ تُبَشِّرُونَ(54)
He said, “Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform”? (54).
Prophet Ibrahim Said To The Angles:” Despite My Old Age You Have Given Me Glad Tidings Of A Young Son Who Will Be A Future Prophet.
قَالُوا بَشَّرْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ فَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ الْقَانِطِينَ(55)
They said, “We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing.”
The Angles Said To Prophet Ibrahim: “We Have Given You Glad Tidings Of The Truth, Thus Do Not Be Amongst The Despondent”.
قَالَ وَمَن يَقْنَطُ مِن رَّحْمَةِ رَبِّهِ إِلَّا الضَّالُّونَ(56)
He said, “And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?”(56).
Prophet Ibrahim Said To The Angels:” And Who Becomes Despondent From The Mercy Of Allah (SWT) Except Those Who Are In Despair & Anguish?”
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ(57)
[Abraham] said, “Then what is your business [here], O messengers?”(57).
Ibrahim Enquired From The Angels:” And What Are You Looking For Here?
قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ(58)
They said, “Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, (58).
The Angles Replied Ibrahim: “Verily, We Have Been Sent To Criminal People (The People Of Loot)”.
إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ إِنَّا لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ(59)
Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all (59).
Except The Immediate Family Of Prophet Loot. They Shall All Be Saved.
إِلَّا امْرَأَتَهُ قَدَّرْنَا ۙ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ الْغَابِرِينَ(60)
Except his wife.” Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind (60).
Except The Wife Of Prophet Loot. Allah (SWT) Commanded That She Would Be Left Behind Amongst Those Undergoing Torment Amongst The Blasphemous.
فَلَمَّا جَاءَ آلَ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلُونَ(61)
And when the messengers came to the family of Lot (61).
And Once The Messenger (Angels) Arrived To The Family Of Prophet Loot.
قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ(62)
He said, “Indeed, you are people unknown.” (62).
Prophet Loot Said To Them You Are People Who Are Denied In Identity.
قَالُوا بَلْ جِئْنَاكَ بِمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ(63)
They said, “But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, (63).
They Replied:” We However, Have Come To You About That “Torment” Which They Were Undergoing”.
وَأَتَيْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ(64)
And we have come to you with truth, and indeed, we are
Truthful (64).
And We Allah (SWT) Have Come To You (Prophet Loot) With The Truth & We Are Sincere In Our Intentions.
فَأَسْرِ بِأَهْلِكَ بِقِطْعٍ مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ وَاتَّبِعْ أَدْبَارَهُمْ وَلَا يَلْتَفِتْ مِنكُمْ أَحَدٌ وَامْضُوا حَيْثُ تُؤْمَرُونَ(65)
So set out with your family during a portion of the night and follow behind them and let not anyone among you look back and continue on to where you are commanded.”
Allah (SWT) Commanded Prophet Loot & His Family To Migrate Within Part Of The Night. With None Of The Accompanying Migrants Looking Back & And Continue To Where You Are Ordered To Go.
وَقَضَيْنَا إِلَيْهِ ذَٰلِكَ الْأَمْرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ مَقْطُوعٌ مُّصْبِحِينَ(66)
And We conveyed to him [the decree] of that matter: that those [sinners] would be eliminated by early morning (66).
And Allah (SWT) Ordered Prophet Loot & His Family That Those Criminal Sinners Would Be Evicted & Expelled By Morning.
وَجَاءَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ(67)
And the people of the city arrived happy (67).
And The Residence Of The City Of Sedoum (City Of The People Of Loot) Arrived Delighted & Excited Seeking To Perform Obscene Acts.
قَالَ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ ضَيْفِي فَلَا تَفْضَحُونِ(68)
[Lot] said, “Indeed, these are my guests, so do not shame me (68).
Prophet Loot Said To His People:” Verily, These Are My Guests (With Attractive Faces), Thus Do Not Approach Them With Shame & Outrageous Acts, Since I Am Unable To Give Them My Protection.
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ(69)
And fear Allah and do not disgrace me.”(69).
And Fear, Be Righteous & Pious To Allah (SWT) Without Disgracing Me.
قَالُوا أَوَلَمْ نَنْهَكَ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ(70)
They said, “Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people? (70)
The Messengers Said” Have We Not Forbidden You From Protecting People Who Might Be In Disgrace, Scandal & Shame?
قَالَ هَٰؤُلَاءِ بَنَاتِي إِن كُنتُمْ فَاعِلِينَ(71)
[Lot] said, “These are my daughters – if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]”(71).
Prophet Loot Said:” These Are My Lawful Daughters. Approach Them With Legal & Lawful Marriage.
لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ(72)
By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly (72).
Allah (SWT) Made An Oath By The Life Of Prophet Muhammad That They
Were Blinded In Their Drunken State.
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُشْرِقِينَ(73)
So the shriek seized them at sunrise (73).
And Thus The “Shriek” Or Screeching Cry Seized The Drunken People At Dawn.
فَجَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن سِجِّيلٍ(74)
And We made the highest part [of the city] its lowest and rained upon them stones of hard clay (74).
And We (SWT) “Overturned” Their City Upside-Down, Raining Them With Stone Of Baked Black Clay.
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ(75)
Indeed in that are signs for those who discern (75).
Verily, In These Are Ayat For Comprehending & Discerning.
وَإِنَّهَا لَبِسَبِيلٍ مُّقِيمٍ(76)
And indeed, those cities are [situated] on an established road.
Verily, The Cities Were Situated On An Established Rout Between Al Medina & Al Sham.
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ(77)
Indeed in that is a sign for the believers (77).
Verily, In That Ayah Is A Sign For The Muslim Believers.
وَإِن كَانَ أَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ لَظَالِمِينَ(78)
And the companions of the thicket were [also] wrongdoers
(78).
Similarly, The Cannabis Companions Were Also Unjust In Their Actions.
فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ(79)
Thus, We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway (79).
Therefore, We (SWT) Took Our Revenge From Both Cities & People, Located On A Clear & Similar Highway.
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أَصْحَابُ الْحِجْرِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ(80)
And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers (80).
And Verily It Was The Compatriots & Associates Of Thamud Who Rejected & Repudiated The People Of The Hijr (The Rocky Trackt People).
وَآتَيْنَاهُمْ آيَاتِنَا فَكَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ(81)
And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away (81).
And We (SWT) Divulged Our Ayat To Them, However, They Turned Their Backs Away.
وَكَانُوا يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ(82)
And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure (82).
And They Used To Carve From The Mountains Secure Dwellings For Themselves.
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّيْحَةُ مُصْبِحِينَ(83)
But the shriek seized them at early morning (83).
And Thus The “Shriek” Or Screeching Cry Seized The Drunken People At Dawn.
فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ(84)
So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn (84).
Thus Nothing Assisted Or Served Them From What They Used To Earn.
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَآتِيَةٌ ۖ فَاصْفَحِ الصَّفْحَ الْجَمِيلَ(85)
And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness (85).
And We (SWT) Did Not Create The Heavens & Earth And Whatever In Between Except In Truth. Verily, The Hereafter Is Undoubtedly Arriving, Thus Forgive People Graciously.
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ(86)
Indeed, your Lord – He is the Knowing Creator (86).
Verily, Allah (SWT) Is The Knowledgeable Creator.
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَاكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنَ الْعَظِيمَ(87)
And We have certainly given you, [O Muhammad], seven of the often repeated [verses] and the great Qur’an (87).
And Thus We (SWT) Have Revealed To You Oh Muhammad Prophet Of Islam Seven Of The Repetitive Ayat & The Glorious Qur’an (Of Surat Al Fatiha Or The Prelude Chapter).
لَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِ أَزْوَاجًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا تَحْزَنْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ(88)
Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers (88).
Do Not Extend Your Vision To The Nonbelievers Whom We (SWT) Have Given Pleasure & Enjoyment To Their Partners. And Be Kind & Considerate To The Believers Who Follow You.
وَقُلْ إِنِّي أَنَا النَّذِيرُ الْمُبِينُ(89)
And say, “Indeed, I am the clear warner” (89).
And Say Oh Muhammad, I Verily Am A Definite Harbinger.
كَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى الْمُقْتَسِمِينَ(90)
Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators (90).
Just As We (SWT) Exposed To The Separators Sacred Texts & Brought Torment To Them For Calling The Prophet Muhammad An Insane Man Or A Poet Or A Sorcerer Or A Priest.
الَّذِينَ جَعَلُوا الْقُرْآنَ عِضِينَ(91)
Who have made the Qur’an into portions (91).
Those Who Separated The Glorious Qur’an Into Segments & Portions: Some Reflecting Poetry, Some Reflecting Sorcery, Some Reflecting Insanity While Other Portions Reflecting Priesthood.
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسْأَلَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ(92)
So by your Lord, We will surely question them all (92).
And Thus By Your Lord Oh Muhammad, We (SWT) Shall Interrogate All The Blasphemous On Judgment Day.
عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ(93)
About what they used to do (93).
About Their Worldly Lifetime & What They Perpetrated There.
فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ(94)
Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists (94).
Allah (SWT) In This Ayah Commands The Prophet Of Islam To Keep Safe From The Polytheist Blasphemous Non-Believers And Declare The Message Of Islam. And Thus Some Will Follow Your Religion & Message While Others Will Declare Their Disbelief In Your Message Oh Muhammad. Therefore Keep Away From The Polytheists. It Was After This Command From Allah (SWT) That Prophet Muhammad & His Companions Declared Islam Openly.
إِنَّا كَفَيْنَاكَ الْمُسْتَهْزِئِينَ(95)
Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers (95).
Verily, Oh Muhammad, We (SWT) Have Ridiculed & Treated Contemptuously Those Who Were Taunting & Scoffing You & Your Message.
الَّذِينَ يَجْعَلُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ(96)
Who make [equal] with Allah another deity. But they are going to know (96).
Those Who Dare Declare With Allah (SWT) Another Creator Or Deity, Shall Evidently Know Of Their Blasphemy.
وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ(97)
And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say (97).
And Thus We (SWT) Are Aware Of The Blasphemous Disbelievers Describing You With Repressive, Stilted & Contrived Names Such As: Magic, Priesthood, Lying & Insanity & The Like Causing Sadness Of Your Heart.
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَكُن مِّنَ السَّاجِدِينَ(98)
So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him] (98).
And Therefore Give Exaltation To Allah (SWT) & Be Amongst Those Who Make Sujood & Salat To Him (SWT).
وَاعْبُدْ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَكَ الْيَقِينُ(99)
And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death) (99).
And Worship Your Lord Allah (SWT) Until You, Oh Muhammad Arrive To Your Death.
