Al Shawkani Exegesis – Surat Ibrahim (No 14)
Ayah 1-52
الر ۚ كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ لِتُخْرِجَ النَّاسَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ.(1)
Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that you might bring mankind out of darkness into the light by permission of their Lord – to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy (1).
(Alif, Lam, Ra [As Previously Mentioned In The Prelude Or The Beginning) (Of The Previous Suwar [# 10 Surat Yunus, # 11 Surat Houd, # 12 Surat) (Yusuf]. Imam Al Qurtubi Affirms That These Singular Arabic Letters Are) (Both The Mystery and Secret of Allah (SWT) in the Glorious Qur’an).
A Book (The Glorious Qur’an) We (SWT) Have Revealed To You Oh Muhammad, So That You Might Be Able To Extricate Humankind From Darkness To Light By Permission & Authorization Of The Almighty Allah (SWT) To The Path Of The Almighty & Praiseworthy.
اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِّلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ شَدِيدٍ.(2)
Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And woe to the disbelievers from a severe punishment (2).
It Is Allah (SWT) Who Owns Whatever Is In The Heavens & The Earth And Wow To The Blasphemous From A Severe Torment.
الَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا عَلَى الْآخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَيَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ.(3)
The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah, seeking to make it (seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error (3).
Those Humankind Who Prefer The Worldly Lifetime Over The Hereafter And Divert People From The Path Of Allah (SWT) & Deviating Them Seem Aberrant & Abnormal. Those Are In Distant Aberrance.
وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِهِ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ۖ فَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ.(4)
And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise (4).
And We (SWT) Have Not Sent A Messenger But Speaking In The Language Of His People To State For Them Their Message. And Thus Allah (SWT) Sends Into Aberrance Whom He Wants & Guides Those Believers On A Straight Path. He (SWT) Is The Worshipped, Cherished & Wise.
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْ أَخْرِجْ قَوْمَكَ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّامِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ.(5)
And We certainly sent Moses with Our signs, [saying], “Bring out your people from darknesses into the light and remind them of the days of Allah.” Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful (5).
And We (SWT) Have Delivered Prophet Mousa With Our Ayat For The Purpose Of Extricate The Jewish People From Darkness To Light [By Permission & Authorization Of The Almighty Allah (SWT)] Reminding Them With The “Days Of Allah (SWT)”. Verily, In That Are Ayat For All Patient & Grateful Humankind.
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ أَنجَاكُم مِّنْ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ ۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَاءٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ.(6)
And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to His people, “Remember the favor of Allah upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from
your Lord (6).
Recollect, Oh Israelites When Prophet Mousa Told His People:” Recall The Courtesy, Corroboration & Support Of Allah (SWT) Upon You When He (SWT) Saved You From The Pharaoh & His Followers Who Caused You Trouble & Sorrow, Afflicting You With The Worst Torment & Suffering. Butchering & Slaughtering Your Males And Keeping Your Females Alive To Assault (Sexually). And In That Affliction Was A Considerable Judgment & Trial From Allah (SWT).
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ.(7)
And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.’ (7).
Allah (SWT) Is Commanding Mousa & The Israelites: “If You Are Thankful Then I (SWT) Will Certainly Augment Your Thanks & Appreciation. However, If You Disbelieve, Then Surely My Torment & Punishment Are Grave & Intense.
وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ إِن تَكْفُرُوا أَنتُمْ وَمَن فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيد (8).
And Moses said, “If you should disbelieve, you and whoever is on the earth entirely – indeed, Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy.”(8).
And Mousa Cautioned The Israelites: “If You Should Disbelieve In The One & Only Allah (SWT), Then He (SWT) Is Liberated From The Responsibility Of Humankind And Whoever Is On The Earth. Verily, Allah (SWT) Is The All Honorable, The All Deserving.
أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ ۛ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ ۛ لَا يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّوا أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُوا إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ.(9)
Has there not reached you the news of those before you – the people of Noah and ‘Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah . Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, “Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt.”(9).
Has The News Of Nations Before You Not Reached You? The Nations Of Nouh, Aad, & Thamoud And Those After Them. Allah (SWT) Has Full Knowledge And Comprehension Of These Nations. Their Messengers Brought Them Unmistakable & Unquestionable Evidence (Proofs & Signs). Or It Could Be A Probable Direct Speech From Allah (SWT) To The Followers Of Prophet Muhammad & To His Message Of Islam. They In Response Returned Their Hands Into Their Mouths Saying: “Verily, We Have No Belief In Whatever Messages You Have Been Sent With”. The Blasphemous Said:” We Disbelieve And Are In Suspicion & Of What You Invite Us To.
قالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللَّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ قَالُوا إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ(.(10
Their messengers said, “Can there be doubt about Allah, Creator of the heavens and earth? He invites you that He may forgive you of your sins, and He delays your death for a specified term.” They said, “You are not but men like us who wish to avert us from what our fathers were worshipping. So bring us a clear authority.”
From The Start Of Prophet Hood & Messages, [That Is The Father Of Messengers Prophet “Ibrahim” Up To The Final Messenger Prophet “Muhammad”] All Wondered About Allah (SWT) & His Creation Of The Heavens And The Earth. He (SWT) Extends His Invitation To Humankind To Forgive Them Their Sins & Trespasses, Before Their Death. They In Turn Responded:
”You Are But Humankind Like Us Seeking To Prevent & Avoid Us From What Our Fathers Were Worshipping. Thus Show Us Unquestionable Power, Proof & Authority.
قَالَتْ لَهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ إِن نَّحْنُ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ يَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا أَن نَّأْتِيَكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ.(11)
Their messengers said to them, “We are only men like you, but Allah confers favor upon whom He wills of His servants. It has never been for us to bring you evidence except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely (11).
Their Messengers Responded, We Are But Humankind Similar & Identical In Creation To You. However, Allah (SWT) Grants Favors Upon Whom He (SWT) Wills Of His Servants. And So It Has Never Been For Us To Make Evidence Available Except Through Allah (SWT)’s Authorization & Consent. Therefore, Upon Allah (SWT) Let The Believers Trust, Depend & Rely.
وَمَا لَنَا أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانَا سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَا آذَيْتُمُونَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ.(12)
And why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely”(12).
And Why Should We Believers Not Depend On The One & Only Allah (SWT) Who Has Guided Us To Our Decent & Benevolent Ways In Our Worldly Lifetimes. And We Shall Definitely Be Forbearing & Tolerant Facing Whatever Harm, Pain & Anguish You Should Cause Us. Verily, Upon Allah (SWT) Let Those Who Would Reply, Truly Rely.
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِرُسُلِهِمْ لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِنَا أَوْ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِي مِلَّتِنَا ۖ فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ لَنُهْلِكَنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ.(13)
And those who disbelieved said to their messengers, “We will surely drive you out of our land, or you must return to our religion.” So their Lord inspired to them, “We will surely destroy the wrongdoers (13).
And The Blasphemous Said To Their Messengers: We Shall Certainly Drive You Away From Our Land; Or You Are Compelled To Return To Our Religion.
Thus Their Lord Inspired Them:” We Shall Surely Demolish & Destroy The Unjust & The Wrongdoers.
له دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُونَ لَهُم بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا كَبَاسِطِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَالِغِهِ ۚ وَمَا دُعَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ(14).
To Him [alone] is the supplication of truth. And those they call upon besides Him do not respond to them with a thing, except as one who stretches his hands toward water [from afar, calling it] to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it [thus]. And the supplication of the disbelievers is not but in error [i.e. futility] (14).
To Allah (SWT) Belongs The Invocation & Beseeching Of Truth And Those Who Are Lesser Than Him (SWT) Do Not React At All, Except As One Who Extends Both Of His Hands Into Water Seeking To Reach His Mouth, Only In Vain. And Thus The Beseeching Of The Blasphemous Is But In Aberrance.
وَاسْتَفْتَحُوا وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ.(15)
And they requested victory from Allah, and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant (15).
And Thus The Messengers & Believers Beseeched Allah (SWT) For Victory Over Every Stubborn, Intransigent, Oppressor & Dictator.
مِّن وَرَائِهِ جَهَنَّمُ وَيُسْقَىٰ مِن مَّاءٍ صَدِيد(16).
Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water (16).
Behind Him Is Hell (Fire) & Shall Be Given Purulent Water [Or Discharging Pus Thereof].
يَتَجَرَّعُهُ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُ وَيَأْتِيهِ الْمَوْتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ ۖ وَمِن وَرَائِهِ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ.(17)
He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment (17).
He Shall Gulp It, But Will Barely Be Able To Swallow & Devour It [Due To Its Bitterness & Extreme Heat]. And Death Shall Call Upon Him From Each & Everywhere. However, He Shall Remain Alive Awaiting His Tremendous & Formidable Torment.
مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ أَعْمَالُهُمْ كَرَمَادٍ اشْتَدَّتْ بِهِ الرِّيحُ فِي يَوْمٍ عَاصِفٍ ۖ لَّا يَقْدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ(18)
The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. That is extreme error (18).
The Exemplification & Case In Point Of Those Who Disbelieved In Allah (SWT) Is That Their Actions & Performance Are Like Cinders, Ashes & The Like Blowing On A Stormy Windy Day – Unable To Keep Anything From What They Earned. That Is True & Extreme Aberrance.
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ.(19)
Have you not seen that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? If He wills, He can do away with you and produce a new creation (19).
Is Humankind Not Aware That Allah (SWT) Created The Heavens & Earth With Truth & In Truth? If He (SWT) Wishes, He Will Eliminate Humankind & Bring About A New Creation.
وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ.(20)
And that is not difficult for Allah (20).
And If He (SWT) So Wishes He (SWT) Shall Abstain From Any Action That Is Burdensome, Intractable, Or Complicated And Is Certainly Attainable By Allah (SWT) To His Creation.
وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَ الضُّعَفَاءُ لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمْ تَبَعًا فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّغْنُونَ عَنَّا مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ ۚ قَالُوا لَوْ هَدَانَا اللَّهُ لَهَدَيْنَاكُمْ ۖ سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَجَزِعْنَا أَمْ صَبَرْنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِيصٍ.(21)
And they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, “Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah?” They will say, “If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape.” (21).
And All Humankind On Judgement Day Shall Gather Before Allah (SWT) And Those Who Are Weak, Powerless & Infirm Will Say To The Arrogant, Condescending & Hubristic: “Verily We Followed Your Ways & Footsteps. Thus Will & Can You Aid & Assist Us In The Torment Of Allah (SWT) When It Is Upon Us? The Arrogant Will Respond: ”Had Allah (SWT) Shown Us The Righteous Path, We Would Have Given You Guidance. Therefore, Being Intolerable Or Patient There No Escape Or Riddance From The Torment Of Allah (SWT).
وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا أَن دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي ۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُوا أَنفُسَكُم ۖ مَّا أَنَا بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُصْرِخِيَّ ۖ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَا أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِن قَبْلُ ۗ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ.(22)
And Satan will say when the matter has been concluded, “Indeed, Allah had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment”(22).
In The Hereafter And On Judgment Day, “When All Was Said & Done” [e.g: Al Jannah For Righteous Humankind Entered Al Jannah & Hellfire For The Unjust, Corrupt & Hypocrite Humankind Entered Hellfire] Shaytan Said:” Verily Allah (SWT): Pledged Humankind The Pledge Of Truth While I (Al Shytan) Promised Humankind (Without Any True Power Or Authority). All That Al Shytan Had, Was Enticement, Seduction & Temptation. Hence, Al Shaytan Said To Humankind:” Do Not Blame Me (Meaning Al Shytan) But Blame Yourselves”!! All That Was In My Power Was To Invite Humankind To Disbelieve in Allah (SWT) And Become “Blasphemous”!! Therefore, Blame Yourselves & Not Me (Meaning Al Shytan). Neither Am I Your Savior Nor Are You My Savior. Verily, The Unjust, The Philanderers, The Hypocrites & The Like Shall Taste True Torment From Allah (SWT).
وَأُدْخِلَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَامٌ.(23)
And those who believed and did righteous deeds will be admitted to gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein by permission of their Lord; and their greeting therein will be, “Peace!”(23).
And Those Believers Who Believed In Allah (SWT) And Performed Righteous Deeds Shall Be Admitted To Jannat Beneath Which Rivers Flow Abiding Eternally Therein With The Consent & Authorization Of Allah (SWT) With Their Greetings Of “Peace & Tranquility”.
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ.(24)
Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky? (24).
Oh Humankind Have You Not Seen The Parable Which Allah (SWT) Gave As An Example. Exemplifying A “Descent Tree” With Its Roots Firmly Embedded Into The Ground & Its Branches Reaching High Into The Sky.
تُؤْتِي أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِينٍ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهَا ۗ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ.(25)
It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord. And Allah presents examples for the people that perhaps they will be reminded (25).
It Produces Its Fruition Every Instant By Permission Of Allah (SWT). And Allah (SWT) Presents Parables For Humankind So That They May Be Reminded & Admonished.
وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ اجْتُثَّتْ مِن فَوْقِ الْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارٍ.(26)
And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability (26).
And The Parable Of A Malignant Word Is Like, A Spoiled & Inferior Tree Uprooted & Eradicated, Possessing No Stability.
يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ
وَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الظَّالِمِينَ ۚ وَيَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ.(27)
Allah keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allah sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allah does what He wills (27).
Allah (SWT) Retains & Conserves The Righteous & Believers With A Firm Speech In The Worldly Lifetime & In The Hereafter. And He (SWT) Drives The Blasphemous & Unjust Into Aberrance. And Allah (SWT) Does Whatever He (SWT) Wishes & Wants.
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ.(28)
Have you not considered those who exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and settled their people [in] the home of ruin? (28).
Have You Oh Muhammad, Not Taken Into Account Those (Hypocrites & Non-Believers) Who Trade & Interchange The Benevolence & Graciousness Of Allah (SWT) With Blasphemy Settling Their Followers Into Dwellings Of Ruin, Destruction & Demolition.
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ.(29)
[It is] Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the settlement (29).
Those Shall Enter The Abyss In Which They Will Receive A Miserable & Despicable Thalamus.
وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلُّوا عَن سَبِيلِهِ ۗ قُلْ تَمَتَّعُوا فَإِنَّ مَصِيرَكُمْ إِلَى النَّارِ.(30)
And they have attributed to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, “Enjoy yourselves, for indeed, your destination is the Fire”(30).
And Those Who Gave Allah (SWT) Partners Aimed At Deceiving, Deluding & Misguiding Humankind From The Path Of Allah (SWT). Tell Them Oh Muhammad (Final Prophet Of Islam):” Thrive, For Verily Your Destiny On Reckoning Day Is Hellfire & Miserable Thalamus”.
قُل لِّعِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لَّا بَيْعٌ فِيهِ وَلَا خِلَالٌ.(31)
[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships.
Oh Prophet Of Islam, Tell My Worshippers Who Have Submitted To Islam To Believe & To Establish Salawat. And Spend From What We (SWT) Have Provided Them Openly & Privately With, Before A Day Arrives In Which There Shall Be No Sale Nor Friendship.
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِيَ فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْأَنْهَارَ.(32)
It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and sent down rain from the sky and produced thereby some fruits as provision for you and subjected for you the ships to sail through the sea by His command and subjected for you the rivers (32).
Allah (SWT) Is The Creator Of The Whole Universe Including The Heavens & Earth. He (SWT) Brought Forth Rain From The Skies Thus Providing For Humankind Fruits As Agricultural Provisions For Cultivation & Agronomics. He (SWT) Further Made For Humankind Ships & Boats To Help & Benefit Them Sail Through Seas As Well As Through Rivers.
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ دَائِبَيْنِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ.(33)
And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day (33).
And He (SWT) Made Available For Humankind His Creation Of The Sun & Moon (In Endless Orbit) And Conforming With Night & Day [24 Hrs (12+12)].
وَآتَاكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَا ۗ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَظَلُومٌ كَفَّارٌ.(34)
And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful (34).
And He (SWT) Granted Humankind From Whatever He Asked Allah (SWT) For. And If Humankind Were To Enumerate & Count The Blessings Of The Lord (SWT) They Could Not & Would Not Identify & Specify Them. Verily, Humankind Is Unjust & Not Appreciative.
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ.(35)
And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said, “My Lord, make this city [Makkah] secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols (35).
And Mention Oh Muhammad (In The Qur’an) When Prophet Ibrahim Said:” My Lord Allah (SWT) Make Makkah A Safe & Secure City For Myself & My Pedigree To Avoid Worshipping Idols, Deities & Effigies.
رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ.(36)
My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me – then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me – indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful (36).
Our Lord Allah (SWT): “Verily These Idols Have Caused Many Worshipping People To Go Astray Away From The Path Of Righteousness. Thus Whoever Follows Me [And My Faith, Belief & Creed] Then He (/She) Is Of Me. And Whoever Disobeys Me, Verily, You SWT Are Forgiving & Merciful.
رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ.(37)
Our Lord, I have settled some of my descendants in an uncultivated valley near Your sacred House, our Lord, that they may establish prayer. So make hearts among the people incline toward them and provide for them from the fruits that they might be grateful (37).
Our Lord Allah (SWT), I Have Settled Down Some Of My Pedigree In A Barren Valley Near Your Sacred House. Oh Our Lord Allah (SWT) So That They May Establish Salat To You Of Allah (SWT) Exclusively. Thus Make The Hearts Of People Fall For Them & Feed Them From The Fruits (Of The Land) So That They Are Thankful.
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ.(38)
Our Lord, indeed You know what we conceal and what we declare, and nothing is hidden from Allah on the earth or in the heaven (38).
Oh Our Lord Allah (SWT) Verily You Are Aware Of What Humankind Conceals And What He Declares. Nothing Is Unrevealed From Allah (SWT) On Earth Or In The Heavens.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ.(39)
Praise to Allah, who has granted to me in old age Ishmael and Isaac. Indeed, my Lord is the Hearer of supplication (39).
Praise Be To Our Lord Allah (SWT) Who Has Gifted Me At My Old Age Isma’eel & Ishaq, Verily My Lord Allah (SWT) Is The Hearer & Responder Of Humankind’s Du’a.
رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ.(40)
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication (40).
Oh My Lord Allah (SWT) Grant Me The Will To Perform Daily Salawat As Well As For My Pedigree. Oh Our Lord (SWT) Receive & Welcome Our Du’a.
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ.(41)
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established”(41).
Oh My Lord Allah (SWT) Forgive Me, My Parents (Including My Pedigree) & All Believers [In You Oh Allah (SWT)] On The Day Of Reckoning In The Hereafter.
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلًا عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الْأَبْصَارُ.(42)
And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].
On The Day Of Reckoning In The Hereafter, Oh Prophet Ibrahim Do Not Underestimate & Misjudge That Allah (SWT) Is Heedless & Oblivious Of What The Unjust, The Infidels, The Apostates & The Hypocrites Will Do On Judgment Day When Visions Of Humans Stare In Fear & In Horror.
مهطعين مسرعين حال مقنعي رافعي رءُوسهم إلى السماء لا يرتد إليهم طرفهم )بصرهم( وأفئدتهم )قلوبهم( هواء خالية من العقل لفزعهم .)تفسير الجلالين)
Racing ahead, their heads raised up, their glance does not come back to them, and their hearts are void (43).
Racing Forward, Their Heads Held Up High, To The Skies, Their Glance Does Not Come Back To Them & Their Hearts Are Null & Void. (Al Jalalain).
وَأَنذِرِ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ الْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا رَبَّنَا أَخِّرْنَا إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ ۗ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُوا أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ.(44)
And, [Oh Muhammad], Warn Humankind Of A Day When Torment Will Be Upon Them And Those Who Were Unjust & Who Did Wrong In Their Lifetime Will Say: “Oh Our Lord, Delay Us For A Short While; For Us To Answer Your Call and Follow The Messengers.” However, It Will Be Said Them: “Had You Not Sworn, Before, That For You There Would Be No Demise (44)?
And Oh Muhammad Warn Humankind Of The Day When Punishment Coupled With Torment Approaching Them, & The Unjust Would Say:” Oh Our Lord Allah (SWT) Delay Us (From Judgment Day) For A Short Duration To Answer Your Invitation & Follow The Messengers”. Allah (SWT) Would However Respond To Them:” Had You (Humankind) Not Sworn That You Would Not Demise?
وَسَكَنتُمْ فِي مَسَاكِنِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ وَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمْ كَيْفَ فَعَلْنَا بِهِمْ وَضَرَبْنَا لَكُمُ الْأَمْثَالَ.(45)
And you lived among the dwellings of those who wronged themselves, and it had become clear to you how We dealt with them. And We presented for you [many] examples”(45).
And You Lived In Homes Similar To Those Who Unjustly Treated Themselves And You Observe How We (SWT) Dealt & Bargained With Them Presenting You With Many Examples.
وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ.(46)
And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains (46).
And They Had Planned Their Cunning Plan, However, Allah (SWT) Has Recorded Their Cunning Which Is Sufficient & Capable Of Destroying Mountains.
فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِ رُسُلَهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انتِقَامٍ.(47)
So never think that Allah will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution (47).
Therefore Never Be Under The Impression Or Contemplate That Allah (SWT) Shall Or Will Fail His Promise To His Messengers. Verily, Allah (SWT) Is Exalted In Glory & Might & Is Vengeful In Punishment & Penalty.
يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ ۖ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ.(48)
[It will be] on the Day the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [as well], and all creatures will come out before Allah, the One, the Prevailing (48).
On The Day Of Resurrection (On That Hereafter Day) The Earth & Heavens Shall Be Replaced Or Substituted With The Power, Will & Determination Of Allah (SWT) & All Creatures Assembling Before Him (SWT) “The Omnipotent”.
وَتَرَى الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ مُّقَرَّنِينَ فِي الْأَصْفَادِ .(49)
And you will see the criminals that Day bound together in shackles (49).
And You Oh Muhammad And All Previous Messengers Before You Will See The Lawbreakers, Offenders, Villains & Criminals That Hereafter Day Bound By Chains, Manacles, Handcuffs & Shackles.
سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٍ وَتَغْشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ.(50)
Their garments of liquid pitch and their faces covered by the Fire (50).
Their Nightgowns Made Of Liquid Tar & Their Faces Covered By Fire.
لِيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ.(51)
So that Allah will recompense every soul for what it earned. Indeed, Allah is swift in account (51).
So That He (SWT) Rewards & Compensates Each Soul With What It Earned In Its Earthly Lifetime. Verily, Allah (SWT) Is Prompt, Rapid & Instantaneous In His Response.
هَٰذَا بَلَاغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُوا بِهِ وَلِيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ.(52)
This [Qur’an] is notification for the people that they may be warned thereby and that they may know that He is but one God and that those of understanding will be reminded (52).
This Glorious Qur’an Is A Proclamation & Declaration From Allah (SWT) For ALL Humankind That They May CONCIOUSLY COMPREHEND That He (SWT) IS THE ONE AND ONLY CREATOR OF HUMANKIND, THE HEAVENS & THE EARTH.
