Al Shawkani Exegesis – Surat Al ​​ Tawbah

(Surah No​​ 9) Ayah 1-​​ 129

This​​ Surah [Number 9​​ Out Of The 114 Suwar Of The Glorious Qur’an] Was Revealed To The Prophet Muhammad [SAAS] From Allah (SWT)​​ In Al​​ Medina Al Munawwarah​​ [In The 9th​​ Year Of Al Hijrah Of The Prophet [SAAS] To Al Medina​​ [Subsequent To​​ The Conquest Of Makkah Al Mukarramak.​​ It​​ Contains​​ A Declaration Of Innocence From Allah (SWT) & His Messenger To The Muslims In General, Particularly To Those Muslims Who​​ Lingered​​ & Loitered​​ &​​ Were​​ Left Behind​​ During The Battle Of Tabouk.​​ 

After The Conquest Of Makkah Al Mukarramah,​​ One Year​​ Hence. Prophet Muhammad​​ [SAAS] Delegated His Cousin​​ Sayyidna​​ Ali [RAA]​​ (& The 4th Khalifah)​​ To Recite The First 10 Ayat​​ [Of Surat Al Tawbah]​​ To​​ The People Of Makkah.​​ Telling Them That Their​​ Covenant & Treaties With Muhammad [SAAS] Are​​ “Null & Void”.​​ This Was In Response​​ To​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah) Who Persisted In Cancelling The “Peace” Treaties With The​​ Prophet Of Islam [SAAS]. And Therefore​​ Sayyidna​​ Ali [RAA], {Upon The Directive Of The Messenger [SAAS]}​​ Went To Al Ka’ba And Began To Circumambulate “Declaring”:​​ 

• No One Shall Enter Al Jannah,​​ Except A Pious Soul [Believing In Allah (SWT) & His Final Messenger [SAAS]].

• And, No Pilgrim​​ Entering Al Masjid Al Haram From​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah) Or​​ From The Nearby Suburbs & Villages Can Circumambulate “Naked, Nude Or Unclothed”.

• After This “Last” Year [9th Thul Hijrah]​​ No Muslim Shall Be Allowed To Meet & Converse With​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous​​ Of Makkah Or From Nearby Suburbs & Villages.

• This Ban Includes The “Hypocrites” From Makkah & Medina.

• Whoever Has​​ A Term [Verbal Or Written] With Muhammad [SAAS], Then That Term Shall Be Honored & Dignified. If On The Other Hand There Is No Term, Then His Term Is Four Months.

 ​​​​ At The Time When​​ Syyidnah​​ Othman [RAA] Became The 3rd Khalifah,​​ He​​ Explained​​ The Reason​​ Regarding Why Surat Al Tawbah Had​​ “NO OPENING AYAH”​​ 

As​​ In:  ​​ ​​​​ “بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

“In The Name Of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful “

This Was Because Surat Al Anfal Was Amongst The First SUWAR That Was Revealed To​​ The Prophet​​ Muhammad [SAAS]​​ In Al Medina While Al Tawbah Was Amongst The Last To Be Revealed To The Prophet [SAAS]. Both Suwar Were Similar In​​ Content & Objective And It Was Always The Messenger Muhammad [SAAS] Who Indicated The “Beginning & End” Of Each Of The 114 Suwar Of The Glorious Qur’an Except These Two. This Was Because The Prophet [SAAS] Died A Natural Death At The​​ Age Of 61 (571-632 AD​​ In Solar Months). This Date Converts To The Prophet’s Hijri Age Of 63. He Died On​​ The First Monday Of​​ The 3rd Month (Rabi’ Al Awwal​​ Of​​ The​​ 11th Year Of Al​​ Hijrah​​ Al Nabawiyyah​​ (The Prophetic Migration Of Muhammad [SAAS]​​ From Makkah To Al Madena​​ Which​​ Coincided​​ With The Year 633 AD.​​ ​​ 

بَرَاءَةٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّم مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ​​ (1)

[This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allah and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists​​ (1).

This Is A Declaration Of Innocence From Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] To Those Polytheists, Pagans, Infidels & Blasphemous Whom Prophet Muhammad [SAAS]​​ Had Made A Treaty With.

فَسِيحُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْزِي الْكَافِرِينَ.(2)

So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers​​ (2).

Therefore,​​ Let The Atheists & Nonbelievers​​ Travel​​ All Over The Land For Four​​ Months And Comprehend​​ That You Are Unable To​​ Cause Frustration & Aggravation To​​ Allah (SWT) & That Verily Allah (SWT)​​ & His Messenger [SAAS]​​ Shall Humiliate & Dishonor The Blasphemous, The Polytheists, The Pagans, & The Infidels Of Makkah.

وَأَذَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ إِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الْأَكْبَرِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ۙ وَرَسُولُهُ ۚ فَإِن تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوا​​ 

أَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِي اللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ.(3)

And [it is] an announcement from Allah and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allah is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away – then know that you​​ will not cause failure to Allah. And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment (3).

This Ayah Is A Declaration From Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] To Muslim Believers Attending The Greater Pilgrimage (At The Qa’bah & Al Masjid Al Haram) That Allah (SWT) & Muhammad [SAAS] Are Innocent From The Polytheists, Pagans, Infidels​​ & The Blasphemous. And Therefore, If You Repent Then This Would Be Of Benefit To Each Of You [Attending The Greater Pilgrimage]. However, If You Turn Your Backs [Away From Allah (SWT) & His Final Prophet & Messenger, Muhammad [SAAS]], Then​​ Be Informed That You Shall Not Be Able To Thwart Or Circumvent What Allah (SWT) Has Decreed. And​​ Give A Warning To The Disbelievers Of Painful Torment.

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّم مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنقُصُوكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّوا إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ.(4)

Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in​​ anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]​​ (4).

Except Those [Polytheists & Pagans] Whom You, Oh Muhammad [SAAS] Entered Into Alliance With And Who Have Not Subsequently Failed You In Anything, Nor Aided Anyone Against You. Therefore, Fulfill Your Treaty With Them To The End [Of The Term Of The Treaty]. Verily, Allah (SWT) Loves The Pious [Who Love & Follow The Footsteps Of The Last Messenger & Prophet Of Allah (SWT)].

فَإِذَا انسَلَخَ الْأَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ حَيْثُ وَجَدتُّمُوهُمْ وَخُذُوهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍ ۚ فَإِن تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَخَلُّوا سَبِيلَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ(5)

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent,​​ establish prayer, and give zakat (Alms), let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful​​ (5).

​​ 

And Upon The Passing Of The Sacred Months (In Which Fighting & Battles Resume) Then Kill All The Polytheists​​ (Pagans & Blasphemous)​​ Wherever You Confront Them. As For The Living, Besiege Them, Capture And Imprison Them. However, Upon Their Repenting [Through Submitting To Allah (SWT), And His Messenger The Prophet Muhammad [SAAS] & Entering Or Re-Entering Islam] Complementing​​ It​​ With The 5 Times Of​​ Daily​​ Salat​​ [Muslim Prayers]​​ &​​ Annual​​ Zakat.​​ Then Release Them For Allah (SWT) Is​​ Verily The​​ Forgiving &​​ The​​ Merciful.

وَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ اسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسْمَعَ كَلَامَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ(6)

And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that​​ he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know​​ (6).

And Oh Muhammad [SAAS], In Case That Any Of The Polytheists Asks For Your Protection, Then Grant It To Him​​ [Them]​​ Until He Hears​​ [They Hear]​​ What Allah (SWT) Has Revealed In The Glorious Qur’an [Through Recitation Of The Ayat] From The Messenger [SAAS] Then Take Him/Them​​ To A Safe Place, For They Are People Unaware Of How Much Knowledge They Possess About Islam & Its Messenger.

كَيْفَ يَكُونُ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ عَهْدٌ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَعِندَ رَسُولِهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ عَاهَدتُّمْ عِندَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۖ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ.(7)

How can there be for the polytheists a treaty in the sight of Allah and with His Messenger, except for those with whom you made a treaty at al-Masjid al-Haram? So as long as they are upright toward you, be upright toward them. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him]​​ (7).

How Can There Be With Allah (SWT) And His Messenger [SAAS] A Covenant With The Polytheists & Pagans, Except For Those Whom You, Muhammad [SAAS] Made A Treaty With At Al Masjid Al Haram? And Therefore As Long As These Treaty-Fulfilling (Non-Muslim) People Of Makkah, Are True To You, Oh Muhammad [SAA], Then Be True To Them For Allah (SWT) Loves The Pious.

كَيْفَ وَإِن يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوا فِيكُمْ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ يُرْضُونَكُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبَىٰ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ.(8)

How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient​​ (8).

How Can There Be A Treaty-Party Who Do Not – Upon Getting Advantage Over You – Do Not Respect The Ties In You Either Of Kinship Or Covenant Of​​ Protection ? With The Words Uttered From Their Mouths They Entice You, Oh Muhammad [SAAS]. However, Their Hearts Are Averse From You, And Most Are Rebellious & Wicked.

اشْتَرَوْا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَصَدُّوا عَن سَبِيلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ.(9)

They have exchanged the signs of Allah for a small price and averted [people] from His way. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing​​ (9).

They Bought With The Ayat Of The Glorious Qur’an A Meager Small Value Thus Shunning Away & Outflanking People From His Path (SWT). Indeed​​ Immoral & Sinful Is What They Are Doing.

لَا يَرْقُبُونَ فِي مُؤْمِنٍ إِلًّا وَلَا ذِمَّةً ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُعْتَدُونَ.(10)

They do not observe toward a believer any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. And it is they who are the transgressors​​ (10).

They Do Not Respect In A Believer Neither Kinship Nor Covenant And Thus They Are The Unjust Party And Are The True Transgressors.​​ 

فَإِن تَابُوا وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَوُا الزَّكَاةَ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ ۗ وَنُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ.(11)

But if they repent,​​ establish prayer, and give zakat, then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know (11).

However, If They Repent, Oh Muhammad [SAAS], Firmly Hold To The Prescribed Five-Time Daily Prayers & Pay Out Their Share Of Zakat, Then They Are Your Brothers In Islam. And Thus We (SWT) Explain The Ayat Of The Glorious Qur’an [Through Its Revelation & Recitation By The Messenger [SAAS]]. ​​​​ 

وَإِن نَّكَثُوا أَيْمَانَهُم مِّن بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ فَقَاتِلُوا أَئِمَّةَ الْكُفْرِ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَا أَيْمَانَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنتَهُونَ.(12)

And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease​​ (12).

On The Other Hand, If They Violate Their Oaths After Their Covenant With You Oh Messenger Of Allah [SAAS] & Taunt You For Your Faith, Then Fight The Chiefs​​ Of Disbelief & Blasphemy For They Have No Faith [In Allah (SWT) & His Prophet & Messenger Muhammad [SAAS]], That They Might Be Restrained​​ From Their Actions.

أَلَا تُقَاتِلُونَ قَوْمًا نَّكَثُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ وَهَمُّوا بِإِخْرَاجِ الرَّسُولِ وَهُم بَدَءُوكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۚ أَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ ۚ فَاللَّهُ أَحَقُّ أَن تَخْشَوْهُ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ.(13)

Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time? Do you fear them? But Allah has​​ more right that you should fear Him, if you are​​ [truly] believers (13).

Will You Believers,​​ Not Fight People Who Violated Their Oaths And​​ Broke​​ The Covenant With The Prophet Muhammad​​ [SAAS]​​ Aimed At​​ Expelling Him [SAAS] & His Muslim Followers From Makkah??​​ And They​​ Were The​​ First To Start Their Aggression​​ Against You, Along With​​ The Prophet [SAAS].​​ Do You Fear​​ These Infidels?​​ While, Allah (SWT) Should Be The One To Be​​ Feared​​ If​​ You Are True Believers.

قَاتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِينَ.(14)

Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people (14).

Fight The Infidels [Pagans, Blasphemous & Disbelievers Of Makkah], Allah (SWT) Shall Torment Them Through Your Hands, Shame & Dishonor Them And Grant You Victory Over Them And Finally ‘Heal The Chest’ Of A Believing People.

وَيُذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ.(15)

And remove the fury in the believers’ hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise (15).

And He (SWT) Eliminates Anger, Fury & Ferocity In Your Hearts And​​ Trigger & Instigate Repentance (SWT) On Whom He (SWT) Wills & He (SWT) Is The All Knowledgeable, All Wise.

أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تُتْرَكُوا وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَا رَسُولِهِ وَلَا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيجَةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ.(16)

Do you think that you will be left [as you are] while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not​​ take other than Allah, His Messenger and the believers as intimates? And Allah is Acquainted with what you do (16).

Did You​​ Imagine & Anticipate That You Will Be Left Alone? As Though Allah (SWT) Did Not Know Those Amongst You Who Strive With Might & Main And Do Not Take Except Allah (SWT), His Messenger [SAAS] & The Believers As​​ Confidants? And Allah (SWT) Is​​ Both Expert & Proficient In What You​​ Do [In Your Worldly Lifetime].

مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يَعْمُرُوا مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ شَاهِدِينَ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِم بِالْكُفْرِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ وَفِي النَّارِ هُمْ خَالِدُونَ.(17)

It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally (17).

​​  ​​​​  ​​​​ 

It Was Not For The Polytheists [Pagans, Infidels & Blasphemous] Of Makkah To Maintain [Attendance] Of The Mosques Of Allah (SWT) While​​ Testifying On Themselves In Blasphemy. The Deeds Of Those Infidels Has Become Of Little Value And In The Hellfire They Shall Forever Abide.

إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ فَعَسَىٰ أُولَٰئِكَ أَن يَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ.(18)

The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakat and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided (18).

The Mosques Of Allah (SWT) Shall Be Visited & Maintained Only By Those Who Believe In Allah (SWT) & The Last Day [Of Resurrection & Judgment], Establish 5 Time Daily Prayers, Give Out Their Prescribed Share Of Zakat And Fear No One Except The Creator Allah (SWT). Hopefully,​​ Those Are Expected To Be On True Guidance.​​ 

​​ ​​ 

أَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ الْحَاجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَجَاهَدَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ لَا يَسْتَوُونَ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ.(19)

Have you made the providing of water for the pilgrim and the maintenance of al-Masjid al-Haram equal to [the deeds of] one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people (19).

Have You Made The Provision Of Watering The Muslims Attending Hajj​​ & The Maintenance Of Masjid Al Haram [In Makkah] Equal (In Deeds)​​ To​​ Recruiting​​ One Who Has Submitted To Allah (SWT) & Believes In Him (SWT) & The Last Day [Resurrection & Judgment]​​ And Strive With Might & Main In The Course Of Allah (SWT)?​​ They Are Not​​ Comparable​​ In The Balance Of Deeds​​ Of Allah (SWT)​​ And Allah (SWT) Does Not Guide The Unjust & Intransigent.

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ.(20)

The ones who have believed, emigrated and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah. And it is those who are the attainers [of success].

Those Believers Who Submitted To Allah (SWT) And Emigrated, Strove & Struggled In The Path & Cause Of Allah (SWT) (And His Messenger [SAAS]) With Their Wealth (Resources & Opulence) And Their Lives, Are Of A Greater Status And Thus They Are The Successful [In This World & In The Hereafter].

يُبَشِّرُهُمْ رَبُّهُم بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنْهُ وَرِضْوَانٍ وَجَنَّاتٍ لَّهُمْ فِيهَا نَعِيمٌ مُّقِيمٌ.(21)

Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure​​ (21).

​​ Allah (SWT) Grants The Successful [In This World & In The Hereafter]​​ Glad Tidings Of Mercy, Consent And Endorsement And Of Gardens For Them Wherein Enduring Delights Exist.

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ.(22)

[They will be] abiding therein forever. Indeed, Allah has with Him a great reward (22).

Forever They Shall Abide Therein. Actually, And As Expected Allah (SWT) Holds With Him The Great Reward [For Believing & Practising Muslims Who Follow The Footsteps Of The Messenger Of Allah [SAAS]].

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا آبَاءَكُمْ وَإِخْوَانَكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ إِنِ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْكُفْرَ عَلَى الْإِيمَانِ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ.(23)

O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you – then it is those who are the wrongdoers (23)

Oh You Who Have​​ Believed [In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Do Not​​ Take Your Fathers And Brothers & As Confidants And As Protectors If They Desired Blasphemy Over Belief In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS], If Any Of You Do So, Then They Are Amongst The Unjust & Intransigent.

قُلْ إِن كَانَ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ وَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ وَعَشِيرَتُكُمْ وَأَمْوَالٌ اقْتَرَفْتُمُوهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسَاكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَا أَحَبَّ إِلَيْكُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَجِهَادٍ فِي سَبِيلِهِ فَتَرَبَّصُوا حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ اللَّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ.(24)

Say, [O Muhammad], “If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people”(24).

Say Oh Muhammad [SAAS] If It Be Your Fathers​​ And Your Sons And Your Wives And Your Tribe And Wealth Which You Have Gained,​​ And​​ The Commerce You Fear​​ A​​ Recession From, And Homes, Houses And Residences In Which You Dwell In Are More​​ Cherished & Favoured Than Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Then Await For The Command Of Allah (SWT) And His Messenger [SAAS] And Allah (SWT) Leaves Astray The Unguided & The Debauchery​​ Group Of People.

لَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ فِي مَوَاطِنَ كَثِيرَةٍ ۙ وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ ۙ إِذْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنكُمْ شَيْئًا وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُم مُّدْبِرِينَ.(25)

Allah has already given you victory in many regions and [even] on the day of Hunayn, when your great number pleased you, but it did not avail you at all, and the earth was confining for you with its vastness; then you turned back, fleeing (25).

Evidently & Assuredly Allah (SWT) Has Granted You [Oh Muhammad [SAAS]] Victory In Many Battle Fields]​​ Including The Day Of Hunyn​​ [A Valley Between Makkah & Ta’iff], When Your Large Muslim Army​​ [12 Thousand] Faced The Infidels Of Al Ta’iff & Hawazin. This Large Number Of Fighting Muslim Army Delighted​​ You Oh Muhammad [SAAS]. However, It Did Not Assist & Benefit You Whatsoever. Since This Great Number​​ Of Fighting Muslims Turned Their Backs To The Enemy​​ And Fled From The Battle Field.​​ Despite​​ The​​ Vast Geography,​​ Which​​ Was Confining​​ To The Prophet [SAAS], He [SAAS] Nevertheless, Along With A Handful Of His Companions & Confidants (Abu Baker, Omar, His Uncle Al Abbas & Abu Sofian Ibn Al Haritha)​​ Managed To​​ Remain In Position Then Retreated Back From​​ Their Position.

ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنُودًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ.(26)

Then Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers angels whom you did​​ not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers (26).

​​ ​​  ​​ ​​​​ ​​ 

Then Allah (SWT)​​ Descended His Quietness & Calmness On​​ [The Hearts & Minds Of The Messenger & His Followers] As Well As​​ Descending Angel Soldiers Unseen [By The Messenger [SAAS]]​​ Tormenting Disbelievers​​ And That Is​​ The​​ Indemnification & Reparation Of The​​ Blasphemous.

ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ مِن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ(27)

Then Allah will accept repentance after that for whom He wills; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (27).

Thence, Allah (SWT) Accepts The Repentance Of Whom He (SWT) Wills, And Allah (SWT) Is The Forgiving & The Merciful.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيكُمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِن شَاءَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ.(28)

O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this, their [final] year. And if you fear privation, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Wise​​ (28).

Oh You Who Have Believed [In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Be Assured That The Polytheists [Pagans, Infidels & Blasphemous] Are Unclean & Impure And Thus Shall Not Approach Al Masjid Al Haram [Aiming To Enter In Order To Perform Hajj Or To Circulating​​ Around The Ka’ba During Tawaf​​ After This Current Year. And If You [Muslims] Fear Deprivation, Then Allah (SWT) Shall Provide​​ For​​ You​​ Compensation From His​​ Grace If He (SWT) Wills, Verily, Allah (SWT) Is​​ Both​​ Knowledgeable & Wise.

قَاتِلُوا الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ حَتَّىٰ يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ.(29)

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled​​ (29).

​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ 

Combat Those Who Do Not Believe In Allah (SWT) & The Last Day [Resurrection & Judgment] And Do Not Forbid What Allah (SWT)​​ & His Messenger [SAAS] Have Forbidden, Nor Acknowledge The Religion​​ Of Truth [Islam]​​ From Those Israelites Who Received The Tawra​​ [From Prophet Mousah (AS)] And​​ The Injeel (Gospel) Received By The Christians. Both Scriptures Mention: “The Coming Of The Last Prophet & Messenger of Islam”, Muhammad [SAAS]. And Therefore,​​ For The People Of The Scriptures​​ –Residing Within​​ The Muslim Communities, They Need To Pay Out A Fee Known As Al Jizya With Willing Submissions While Feeling Themselves Debased & Degraded.

وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ عُزَيْرٌ ابْنُ اللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى الْمَسِيحُ ابْنُ اللَّهِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُم بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ ۖ يُضَاهِئُونَ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَبْلُ ۚ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ أَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ.(30)

The Jews say, “Ezra is the son of Allah “; and the Christians say, “The Messiah is the son of Allah.” That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded​​ 

(30)?

And The​​ Israelites (Jews) Said:”​​ Uzair Is The Son Of Allah (SWT)”, While The Christians Said: “Jesus​​ Christ Is The Son Of Allah (SWT). That Is What The Jews & Christians Expressed & Articulated Through Their Own Mouths. They Disclosed & Divulged The Saying Of Those Blasphemous Before Them. Let Allah (SWT) Combat Them​​ For Their Delusion Away From The Truth.

اتَّخَذُوا أَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَالْمَسِيحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا ۖ لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ سُبْحَانَهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ.(31)

They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him​​ (31).

They​​ Took Their Monks, Religious Scholars​​ & Friars As Gods Besides Allah (SWT)​​ As Well As​​ Jesus The Son Of Mary.​​ While They Were​​ Commanded & Instructed​​ To​​ Solely Worship​​ One God For There​​ Is No Idol Creator Except Him (SWT). Exalted May He (SWT) Be Above Whatever They Associate With Him (SWT).​​ 

يُرِيدُونَ أَن يُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ إِلَّا أَن يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ.(32)

They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it (32).

They Seek To Terminate & Abolish The Light Of Allah (SWT) With Their Mouths. However, Allah (SWT)​​ Declines & Refuses But To Complete His Light (SWT)​​ Despite The Dislike & Disfavor Of The Apostates, Faithless, Heretic & The Infidels.

هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَىٰ وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ.(33)

It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it (33).

It Is He And Only He (SWT) Who Delivered His Messenger​​ [SAAS] With Guidance & The Religion Of Truth [Islam]​​ To Proclaim​​ It Over All​​ Religion​​ Even Though The Pagans & Atheists May Detest It.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ الْأَحْبَارِ وَالرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ.(34)

O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah – give them tidings of a painful punishment (34).

Oh You Who Believed, Verily A Lot​​ Of​​ Monks & Priests​​ Consume & Eat The​​ Riches & Resources Of People Unjustifiably, And Hinder​​ People From The Path of Allah (SWT). And There Are Those Who​​ Collect, Stockpile &​​ Bury​​ Gold & Silver And Yet They Do Not Disburse It In The Path Of Allah (SWT), Then Notify Them​​ Of Painful Torment [On Judgment Day].

يَوْمَ يُحْمَىٰ عَلَيْهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَىٰ بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ ۖ هَٰذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ.(35)

The Day when it will be heated in the fire of Hell and seared therewith will be their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, [it will be said], “This is what you hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you used to hoard”(35).

On The Day When Heat Shall Be Produced Out Of The Collected Wealth In The Hellfire. With Its Heat Shall Be Branded: Their Foreheads, Their Flanks &​​ Their Backs:​​ “This Is The Treasure You Buried For Yourself. Thus Taste​​ What You Stowed & Stored For Yourselves.

إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِندَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ ۚ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ وَقَاتِلُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَافَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ كَافَّةً ۚ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ.(36)

Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him] (36).

 ​​ ​​​​ 

Verily, The Number of​​ Months Declared In The Glorious Qur’an Are 12 Lunar [Not Solar] Months In A Year​​ When He (SWT) Created The Heavens & Earth. Out Of The 12, 4 Are Sacred. Thus​​ This Is The Accurate & Proper Religion & Therefore Do Not Unjustly Treat Yourselves During Them. And Combat​​ The Polytheists [Pagans, Infidels & Blasphemous] Collectively As They Fight You Collectively And Comprehend That Allah (SWT) Is​​ In The Accompaniment Of The Pious & Righteous.

إِنَّمَا النَّسِيءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِي الْكُفْرِ ۖ يُضَلُّ بِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُحِلُّونَهُ عَامًا وَيُحَرِّمُونَهُ عَامًا لِّيُوَاطِئُوا عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ فَيُحِلُّوا مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ ۚ زُيِّنَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ أَعْمَالِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَ.(37)

Indeed, the postponing [of restriction within sacred months] is an increase in disbelief by which those who have disbelieved are led [further] astray. They make it lawful one year and unlawful another year to correspond to the number made unlawful by Allah and [thus] make lawful what Allah has made unlawful. Made pleasing to them is the evil of their deeds; and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people (37).

​​ ​​ ​​ 

Surely, The Transposing Of A Sacred Month Is An Augmenting Of Blasphemy Through Which The Blasphemous Are Further Led Into Aberrance. Making Lawful One Year And Unlawful​​ [Or Forbidden]​​ Another​​ Year In Order To Adjust The Number Of Months Forbidden By​​ Allah (SWT), Thus Making Them Lawful. The Transgression & Sinful Action Of Their Deeds Seems Pleasing & Favorable To Them. However, Allah (SWT) Does Not Guide The Blasphemous.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ انفِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ اثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ۚ أَرَضِيتُم بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ ۚ فَمَا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا قَلِيلٌ.(38)

O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere​​ heavily​​ to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little​​ (38).

​​  ​​​​ 

Oh You Who Have Believed, Why Is It That When You Are Called For​​ The​​ Cause Of Allah (SWT), You Remain “Gravitated” To Your Location. Would You Prefer The Life Of This [Earthly] World Over The Hereafter?​​ However,​​ Little Is The Comfort Of This Life As Compared To The Hereafter.

إِلَّا تَنفِرُوا يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا وَيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوهُ شَيْئًا ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.(39)

If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and will replace you with another people, and you will not harm Him at all. And Allah is over all things competent (39).

And So If You Remain “Motionless” At Your Location [After The Call Of Allah (SWT)] Then You Shall Be Tormented By Him (SWT) And Replaced By Other People Who Shall Not​​ Harm & Cause Him Suffering (SWT) For Allah (SWT) Has Power Over All Things & All Creation.

إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثَانِيَ اثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِي الْغَارِ إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَاحِبِهِ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَنَا ۖ فَأَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ​​ عَلَيْهِ وَأَيَّدَهُ بِجُنُودٍ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا السُّفْلَىٰ ۗ وَكَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ​​ حَكِيمٌ.(40)

If you do not aid the Prophet – Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, “Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.” And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah – that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise (40).

​​ 

If You [Followers Of The Messenger & Prophet Of Islam [SAAS]] Do Not Help Him, Then Allah (SWT)​​ Has Come To His Aid​​ When The Atheists, Infidels & Blasphemous Expelled Him From Makkah. Muhammad [SAAS] & His Closest & Dearest Companion, Abu Baker,​​ When​​ The Two​​ Were Safely Housed​​ Inside The Cave.​​ The Messenger [SAAS] Told Abu Baker: “Don’t Be​​ Distressed Or Saddened, For​​ Verily Allah (SWT)​​ Is​​ “Our​​ Third”​​ Companion”.​​ And So Allah (SWT) Enforced The Messenger [SAAS] & His Companion With Calmness & Peacefulness, Enforcing Both With “Invisible Soldier Angels” Who Made The Word Of The Blasphemous The “Lowest”, While The Word Of Allah (SWT) “The Highest”, And He (SWT) Is The Mighty & The Wise.

انفِرُوا خِفَافًا وَثِقَالًا وَجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ.(41)

Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew (41).

Advance Forward Whether​​ Light Weight Or Heavy & Seek​​ Striving & Struggling With Your Wealth & Lives In The Cause Of Allah (SWT), That [Action] Is Certainly Better For All, If You Only Knew.

لَوْ كَانَ عَرَضًا قَرِيبًا وَسَفَرًا قَاصِدًا لَّاتَّبَعُوكَ وَلَٰكِن بَعُدَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّقَّةُ ۚ وَسَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَوِ اسْتَطَعْنَا لَخَرَجْنَا مَعَكُمْ يُهْلِكُونَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ.(42)

Had it been an easy gain and a moderate trip, the hypocrites would have followed you, but distant to them was the journey. And they will swear by Allah, “If we were able, we would have gone forth with you,” destroying themselves [through false oaths], and Allah knows that indeed they are liars​​ (42).

Had It Been Immediate Gain In Sight And An Easy Journey, All The “Hypocrites”​​ Of The Battle Of Tabouk​​ Would Have Followed You, Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT). However,​​ The Distance Was Far & They Felt Grounded. They Would Indeed Swear By Allah (SWT):”Assuming We Were Competent & Eligible, We Would Have Joined You”. However, Allah (SWT) Knows That They Are Lying Through Their​​ Fake & Forged Oaths.

عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنكَ لِمَ أَذِنتَ لَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَتَعْلَمَ الْكَاذِبِينَ.(43)

May Allah pardon you, [O Muhammad]; why did you give them permission [to remain behind]? [You should not have] until it was​​ evident to you who were truthful and you knew [who were] the liars (43).

Allah (SWT) Has Forgiven You, Oh Muhammad [SAAS] As To Why​​ You​​ Gave​​ All Of Them​​ (The Tabouk​​ Battle​​ Infidels, Atheists & Non-Believers)​​ Permission To Stay​​ Behind And Not Join You With Your Struggle & Strife.​​ This, Until It Was​​ Clear & Obvious To You Who Were The Deceivers & Fabricators, And Who Were The Sincere & Truthful.

لَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَن يُجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُتَّقِين.(44)

Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day would not ask permission of you to be excused from striving with their wealth and their lives. And Allah is Knowledgeable​​ of those who fear Him (44).

Those​​ Muslims Who Have Followed​​ You Oh Muhammad​​ [SAAS]​​ In Islam​​ & Who Believe In Allah (SWT) & The Last Day​​ Do​​ Not Require Your Permission​​ To​​ Strive With Their Wealth & Lives, And Allah (SWT) Is Knowledgeable Of Those Who Are​​ Devout & Pious To Him (SWT).

إِنَّمَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَارْتَابَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِي رَيْبِهِمْ يَتَرَدَّدُونَ.(45)

Only those would ask permission of you who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have doubted, and they, in their doubt, are hesitating (45).

However, Only Those Who Seek Your Permission​​ Oh Muhammad [SAAS]​​ Are Indeed The Ones Who​​ Do Not Believe In Allah (SWT) & The Last Day With Their “Hearts Doubting” Indecisively & Hesitantly.

وَلَوْ أَرَادُوا الْخُرُوجَ لَأَعَدُّوا لَهُ عُدَّةً وَلَٰكِن كَرِهَ اللَّهُ انبِعَاثَهُمْ فَثَبَّطَهُمْ وَقِيلَ اقْعُدُوا مَعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ.(46)

And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it [some] preparation. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, “Remain [behind] with those who remain” (46).

And If They Had Intended To Exit Their Locations & Move Forward, They Would Have Prepared A Degree Of Preparation. However, Allah (SWT)​​ Despised & Loathed Their Moving Forward​​ (Along With You Oh Muhammad [SAAS])​​ & Made Them Lag Behind And They Were Told To Sit Without Action Among Those Sitting With No Activity.

لَوْ خَرَجُوا فِيكُم مَّا زَادُوكُمْ إِلَّا خَبَالًا وَلَأَوْضَعُوا خِلَالَكُمْ يَبْغُونَكُمُ الْفِتْنَةَ وَفِيكُمْ سَمَّاعُونَ لَهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالظَّالِمِينَ.(47)

Had they gone forth with you, they would not have increased you except in confusion, and they would have been active among you, seeking [to cause] you fitnah. And among you are avid listeners to them. And Allah is Knowing of the wrongdoers (47).

If They Had Moved Forward With You​​ Oh​​ Prophet Of Allah (SWT), They Would Not Have Added To Your Strength, Mightiness Or Forcefulness​​ But Only​​ Increased Your Hesitation &​​ Skepticism, Sewing Sedition In Your Ranks. And​​ There Would Have Been Some Amongst You Who Would Have Listened To Them​​ [With Attention] And Allah (SWT) Is Knowledgeable With The Unjust Of Humankind.

لَقَدِ ابْتَغَوُا الْفِتْنَةَ مِن قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُوا لَكَ الْأُمُورَ حَتَّىٰ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ.(48)

They had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of Allah appeared, while they were averse (48).

They Indeed​​ Were Aspiring & Longing To Seek Sedition Before And Upset Matters For You Until The Truth Of Allah (SWT) Appeared While They​​ Were Antagonistic & Resistant To His Command (SWT).

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ ائْذَن لِّي وَلَا تَفْتِنِّي ۚ أَلَا فِي الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُوا ۗ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌ بِالْكَافِرِينَ.(49)

And among them is he who says, “Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial.” Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers (49).

And Amongst Them​​ Are Many​​ Who Say: “Give Me Permission​​ To Stay Behind​​ [And Not Go To Battle With You, Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT)], Thus Not Putting Us Through Trials]. Have They Not Already Fallen Into Sedition? And Verily, The Abyss Surrounds The Blasphemous.

إِن تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْكَ مُصِيبَةٌ يَقُولُوا قَدْ أَخَذْنَا أَمْرَنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّوا وَّهُمْ فَرِحُونَ.(50)

If good befalls you, it distresses them; but if disaster strikes you, they say, “We took our matter [in hand] before,” and turn away while they are rejoicing​​ (50).

If Good Fortune Occurs To You, They [The Infidels, Blasphemous, Atheists & Heretics] Would Be In Destress & Tribulation. Conversely, If Misfortune Befalls You [Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT)], They Say:”​​ Indeed We Took Our Precautions Beforehand”. And They Turn​​ Their Backs​​ Away​​ While In Jubilation & Delight.

قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلَانَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ.(51)

Say, “Never will we be struck except by what Allah has decreed for us; He is our protector.” And upon Allah let the believers rely (51).

Say Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT):” Nothing Shall Befall Us. Only That Which Allah (SWT) Has​​ Proclaimed For Humankind. He​​ (SWT) Is Our Custodian & Protector & On Him (SWT) All Believers Should Rely.

قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُونَ بِنَا إِلَّا إِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِ ۖ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ أَن يُصِيبَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِندِهِ أَوْ بِأَيْدِينَا ۖ فَتَرَبَّصُوا إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّتَرَبِّصُونَ.(52)

Say, “Do you await for us except one of the two best things while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or at our hands? So wait; indeed we, along with you, are waiting” (52).

Say Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT):”​​ Do You Expect Or Contemplate For Us Either Of Glorious​​ Destinies: Victory Or Martyrdom? However, We Expect For You Torment From Allah​​ (SWT) Or​​ At Our Hands. Thus, We​​ Shall​​ Await​​ In Expectation​​ To​​ Combat [The Infidels, Blasphemous, Atheists & Heretics] Upon Getting A Sign​​ From Allah (SWT).

قُلْ أَنفِقُوا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا لَّن يُتَقَبَّلَ مِنكُمْ ۖ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ.(53)

Say, “Spend willingly or unwillingly; never will it be accepted from you. Indeed, you have been a defiantly disobedient people” (53).

Say Oh Muhammad [SAAS]:​​ [To The Infidels, Blasphemous, Atheists & Heretics]:”​​ Pay Out Without Hesitation Or With Reluctance. Either Way It Shall Not Be Accepted. This Is Because You Have Been An Insubordinate, Rebellious,​​ Debaucher People​​ “.

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلَّا أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الصَّلَاةَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ.(54)

And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling (54).

The Only Reason Why Their Donations Are Not Accepted Is That They Disbelieved And Blasphemed In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS]. Also They Only Arrive At​​ Congregational Prayers​​ Sluggish & Lethargic And Do Not Donate Except​​ With Hesitation.

فَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ.(55)

So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers (55).

Oh Muhammad [SAAS] Do Not Admire Or Praise Their Wealth Or Their Offspring. This Is Because Allah (SWT) Wishes​​ To Torment Them With These​​ Aspects​​ In​​ Their​​ Worldly Lifetime​​ & That Their Souls May Perish In Their Very Denial Of The Creator (SWT).

وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَفْرَقُونَ.(56)

And they swear by Allah that they are from among you while they are not from among you; but they are a people who are afraid (56).

​​ 

Oh​​ Messenger Of Allah (SWT),​​ “The Infidels, Blasphemous, Atheists & Heretics”​​ Swear By Allah (SWT)​​ That They Are From Amongst​​ Your​​ Muslim Followers, Whereas They Are Afraid To Appear In Their “True Intensions”​​ & Or “True Colors”.

لَوْ يَجِدُونَ مَلْجَأً أَوْ مَغَارَاتٍ أَوْ مُدَّخَلًا لَّوَلَّوْا إِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَجْمَحُونَ.(57)

If they could find a refuge or some caves or any place to enter [and hide], they would turn to it while they run heedlessly (57).

Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT), If “The Infidels, Blasphemous, Atheists & Heretics” Were To Find Refuge [Inside Caves For Hiding] Or Sanctuary Or Asylum They Would Turn To These Places Straightaway With An Obstinate Rush.

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُوا مِنْهَا رَضُوا وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْا مِنْهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ.(58)

And among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. If they are given from them, they​​ approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry (58).

And Some Of Them Oh Muhammad [SAAS] Denounce and Condemn You For Your Distribution​​ Of Donations & Or Alms. Thus If They Are Given Part Thereof, They Are Pleased. However, If They Are Not Included In The Alms Distribution, They Become Indignant & Slanderous Of You Prophet Of Allah (SWT).

وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوا مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُوا حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَاغِبُونَ.(59)

If only they had been satisfied with what Allah and His Messenger gave them and said, “Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah,” [it would have been better for them] (59).

Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT):​​ If​​ They [The Infidels, Blasphemous, Atheists & Heretics] Accepted What Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Gave Them, Saying: “Sufficient​​ Unto Us​​ What Allah (SWT)​​ & His Messenger Will Soon Give Us Of Their Bounty. (Therefore) To Allah (SWT) We Turn Our Hopes &​​ Prayers.

إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ ۖ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ.(60)

Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise​​ (60).

 ​​ ​​​​ 

Oh Prophet Of Allah (SWT) & Messenger Of Islam [SAAS], Indeed Charities, Donations, Alms (Compulsory Muslim Zakat) & Handouts Are Earmarked For The Poor, The Needy & Those Employed To Collect Muslim Zakat. Also For Liberating Muslim Detainees & Captives​​ & For The Wayfarers. Also For Those Employed To Administer Funds For Those Whose Hearts Have Been Reconciled​​ To Truth For Those In Bondage And For Those In Debt For The Sake Of Allah (SWT) And Allah (SWT) Is Knowledgeable & Wise.​​ 

وَمِنْهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ النَّبِيَّ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌ ۚ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم.(61)

And among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, “He is an ear.” Say, “[It is] an ear of goodness for you that believes in Allah and believes the believers and [is] a mercy to those who believe among you.” And those who abuse the Messenger of Allah – for them is a painful punishment (61).

Oh Muhammad [SAAS], “The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah) All Treated You With Cruelty By Describing You As A “Hypocrite” Possessing An “Ear”. Reply: Oh Muhammad [SAAS], “It Is An Ear Of Virtuousness & Ethicalness That Believes In The Word Of Allah (SWT) [As Revealed In The Glorious Qur’an], Has Faith In (Muslim) Believers & Is A Mercy​​ For All Believers Who Follow & Believe In His Message [SAAS]. As For Those Who Molest, Abuse & Distort The Messenger [SAAS]​​ & His Final Message Shall Undergo Grievous Torment From Allah (SWT) On Judgment Day.

يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَاللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ.(62)

They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers​​ (62).

The Infidels,​​ The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah)​​ Would Affirm & Declare By Allah (SWT) To Muslims To Obtain Your Satisfaction If They Happen To Be True Believers.

أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ مَن يُحَادِدِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَأَنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْخِزْيُ الْعَظِيمُ.(63)

Do they not know that whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger – that for him is the fire of Hell, wherein he will abide eternally? That is the great disgrace (63).

Do The​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah) Not Acknowledge That Whoever​​ Acts Against Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Then He Shall Enter Hellfire Abiding Eternally Therein. That Is​​ True Shame & Disgrace.

يَحْذَرُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ قُلِ اسْتَهْزِئُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ.(64)

They hypocrites are apprehensive lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, “Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear”(64).

 ​​​​ 

The Hypocrites Amongst,​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah)​​ Are Afraid That A​​ “Surah”​​ Is Revealed​​ Exposing What​​ They Hide In Their Hearts. Say: Oh Muhammad [SAAS] “Mock & Ridicule As Much As You Want, Allah (SWT) Shall​​ Divulge Your Distress, Anxiety & Trepidation.

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوضُ وَنَلْعَبُ ۚ قُلْ أَبِاللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ وَرَسُولِهِ كُنتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِئُونَ.(65)

And if you ask them, they will surely say, “We were only conversing and playing.” Say, “Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?”(65).​​ 

And If You Oh Muhammad [SAAS] Were To Ask​​ The Hypocrites Who Exist Amongst, The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah) They​​ Would​​ Undoubtedly Say: “We Were Only Chatting & Playing”. Reply Oh Muhammad [SAAS]:”​​ Were You Making Fun Of Allah (SWT), His Ayat & His Messenger [SAAS]?

لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ ۚ إِن نَّعْفُ عَن طَائِفَةٍ مِّنكُمْ نُعَذِّبْ طَائِفَةً بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ.(66)

Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We​​ pardon one faction of you – We will punish another faction because they were criminals (66).

Tell​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah)​​ Oh Muhammad [SAAS]:”Do Not Apologize,​​ Making​​ No​​ Excuses Since You​​ Rejected Islam &​​ Reverted To Blasphemy After Believing & Becoming Muslims.​​ If Some Are Pardoned​​ [Because Of Their Admitting & Conceding​​ To Their Guilt For Refusing Islam], We (SWT) Shall Torment​​ Others For Their​​ Insistence On​​ “Hypocrisy & Being Double-Faced.”​​ 

الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ بَعْضُهُم مِّن بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمُنكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَقْبِضُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ ۚ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ.(67)

The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them [accordingly]. Indeed, the hypocrites – it is they who are the defiantly disobedient​​ (67).

The Hypocrites​​ Men & Women Are Of The “Same Kind”. They Enjoin​​ Evil & Forbid​​ & Preclude​​ What Is Righteous. They Tighten Their Fists [Against​​ Religious Annual​​ Zakat​​ And Spending Donations For The Poor & Needy]. They Forgot Allah (SWT) & He (SWT) Forgot Them In Return.

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ هِيَ حَسْبُهُمْ ۚ وَلَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ​​ مُّقِيمٌ.(68)​​ 

Allah has promised the hypocrite men and hypocrite women and the disbelievers the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally. It is sufficient for them. And Allah has cursed them, and for them is an enduring punishment​​ (68).

Allah (SWT) Gave A Covenant & Pledge That The Men & Woman Hypocrites As Well As [The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah)]​​ Within​​ The Hellfire All Shall Eternally Abide. This Hellfire Is Sufficient & Adequate For Them And Allah (SWT) Has Placed Upon Them A Curse &​​ A Resident & Inhabitant Torment.

كَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنكُمْ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرَ أَمْوَالًا وَأَوْلَادًا فَاسْتَمْتَعُوا بِخَلَاقِهِمْ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُم بِخَلَاقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُم بِخَلَاقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِي خَاضُوا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ​​ الْخَاسِرُونَ.(69)

[You disbelievers are] like those before you; they were stronger than you in power and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their portion [of worldly enjoyment], and you have enjoyed your portion as those before you enjoyed their portion,​​ and you have engaged [in vanities] like that in which they engaged. [It is] those whose deeds have become worthless in this world and in the Hereafter, and it is they who are the losers​​ (69).

Indeed, Similar To The Non-Believers [Those Being​​ The Infidels, The​​ Polytheists, The Pagans & The Blasphemous (Of Makkah)]​​ As Well As​​ The Hypocrites​​  ​​​​ Before​​ Your Time Who Were More Powerful​​ & Mightier​​ Than You,​​ And​​ More Abundant in Wealth & Offspring Than​​ You.​​ They Had Their Worldly Enjoyment Similar To Your Enjoyment.​​ Both They & You Enjoyed & Indulged In Arrogance, Conceit​​ & Egoism.​​ For Those Humankind, Their Deeds & Actions Become Worthless & Meritless In This Worldly Life & In The Hereafter.

أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَصْحَابِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَاتِ ۚ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ.(70)

Has there not reached them the news of those before them – the people of Noah and [the tribes of] ‘Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.

Did The News​​ Of​​ The Hypocrites​​ In History​​ Before Them Not Reach​​ Them?​​ The Six​​ Religious Cults & Factions​​ Of​​ Whom The Muslim Arabs Got To Know Through This Ayah Of The Glorious Qur’an. The People Of Prophet Nooh [AS] Who Were Drowned. The People Of​​ Prophet Aad​​ [AS]​​ Who Were Destructed By The Aseptic Winds, The People Of Prophet Thamoud [AS] Who Were Destroyed By The​​ “Shout”, The People Of Prophet Ibraheem [AS] Whom Allah (SWT)​​ “Shrouded Them With Mosquetoes”. The People Of Prophet Shouayb​​ [AS] Who Were Overtaken By “Ground Vibrations”. And Al Mu’tafikat [The Villages Of The People Of Prophet Lout [AS] Whom Allah (SWT) “Rained” With Stones So Much So That The Villages Were “Overturned Upside Down”. The Six Messengers Mentioned In This Ayah Came To Their People & Followers With “Materialistic Proof” And Clear Warning Signs. However, The Followers Of These Six Messengers Disbelieved & Blasphemed In Allah (SWT)​​ Through​​ Not Accepting The “Justice & Righteousness” Of Their Messengers. Thus Allah (SWT) Was “Not” Unjust To Them, But They Were Unjust To Themselves.

وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَيُطِيعُونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللَّهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ​​ حَكِيمٌ.(71)

The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Those – Allah will have mercy upon them. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise (71).

The Men & Women Believing (Muslims) Are Proponents & Supporters To Each Other. All Are Allies To Each Other Under The Banner Of Islam. They Enjoin What Is Righteous​​ & Good​​ And​​ Forbid & Prohibit What Is Wrong & Evil. They Establish [Five Daily Prayers], Give Out Annual Zakat (Alms), Submit & Obey Allah (SWT) & His Final Messenger [SAAS]. Those Allah (SWT) Shall Shower Them With His Mercy [& Forgiveness]. For Allah (SWT) Is The Glorified & Revered In Might & Wisdom.

وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَمَسَاكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِي جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ ۚ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.(72)

Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great success (72).

Allah (SWT) Has Pledged & Promised Men & Woman Believing & Submitting To Islam, Gardens Under Which​​ Magnificent & Luxurious​​ Rivers​​ Flow​​ Eternally & Those Who Enter Al Jannah Shall Exist Eternally Inside​​ Gorgeous​​ Dwellings In Jannati​​ ​​ Adn​​ With The​​ Grace​​ And Acceptance​​ Of Allah (SWT) Greater.​​ However,​​ The Greatest Bliss​​ Shall Be​​ The Good Pleasure Of Allah (SWT). That​​ Is The Ultimate & Supreme Felicity.

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ.(73)

O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination​​ (73).

Oh [Muhammad, SAAS]​​ Prophet​​ [& Final Messenger​​ Of Islam] Combat The Disbelievers, The Blasphemous & The Hypocrites & Be Stern, Strong And Relentless (With Them) And​​ Their​​ Asylum Is Hellfire &​​ Evil Refuge Indeed.

يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ مَا قَالُوا وَلَقَدْ قَالُوا كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِمْ وَهَمُّوا بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُوا ۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوا إِلَّا أَنْ أَغْنَاهُمُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ ۚ فَإِن يَتُوبُوا يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِي​​ 

الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ.(74)

They swear by Allah that they did not say [anything against the Prophet] while they had said the word of disbelief and disbelieved after their [pretense of] Islam and planned that which they were not to attain. And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they​​ repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allah will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper​​ (74).

They Take An Oath By Allah (SWT) That:​​ “They Did Not Utter Anything Evil” Against The Prophet Of Islam​​ Muhammad [SAAS], While​​ “They” (The Hypocrites)​​ In Reality,​​ “Indeed Uttered” Disbelief & Blasphemy Subsequent To Their Acceptance Of Islam. Moreover, The Hypocrites Planned To Assassinate The Messenger Muhammad [SAAS] On The “Night Of Al Aqabah” At The Battle Of Tabouk. This “Failed Plot” Was The Only Available “Revenge” Of The Hypocrites To What Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Had Enriched Them With, Upon The Arrival Of The Prophet [SAAS] To Al Medina Al Munawwara (After Al Hijrah [Immigration From Makkah Al Mukkarrama]). Thus Upon Their Repentance, They Shall Live In Al Medina’s Community Close To The Messenger [SAAS]. If On The Other Hand, They Remain With Their​​ “Hypocritical” Existence, Allah (SWT) Shall Punish Them In This Lifetime & In The Hereafter​​ By​​ A Grievous Punishment With No​​ Protector Or Custodian. ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ 

​​ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ عَاهَدَ اللَّهَ لَئِنْ آتَانَا مِن فَضْلِهِ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ.(75)

And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah , [saying], “If He should give us from His bounty, we will surely spend in charity, and we will surely be among the righteous ” (75).

This Ayah Was Revealed To The Prophet [SAAS] Regarding Pious Muslims Who Made A Covenant With Allah (SWT) That If He (SWT) “Bestowed Upon Them​​ From His Bounty” They Would Definitely Donate Towards Charity And Be Amongst The Righteous. This Ayah Was Revealed Concerning Tha’labah​​ Bin Hateb Who Asked The Prophet [SAAS] To Make Du’a For Him That Allah (SWT) Gives​​ Hateb From His Bounty​​ (Unlimited)​​ So That He May Be Charitable.

فَلَمَّا آتَاهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِ بَخِلُوا بِهِ وَتَوَلَّوا وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ.(76)

But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused​​ (76).

However, Upon Granting Them From Allah​​ (SWT)’s Bounty, They Reneged And Became Covetous, Turning Back From Their​​ Covenant With The Creator (SWT).

فَأَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهُ بِمَا أَخْلَفُوا اللَّهَ مَا وَعَدُوهُ وَبِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ.(77)

So He penalized them with hypocrisy in their hearts until the Day they will meet Him – because they failed Allah in what they promised Him and because they [habitually] used to lie (77).

And So Allah (SWT)​​ Punished & Penalised Them With Consequential Hypocritical Behavior Into Their Hearts Till The Day They Meet Allah (SWT) [On The Day Of Judgment] For Their Promise Not To Betray Allah (SWT) And For Their Continual & Persistent Lying Against Him (SWT).

أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ.(78)

Did they not know that Allah knows their secrets and their private conversations and that Allah is the Knower of the unseen (78)?

Did The Hypocrites Not Know That Allah (SWT) Is Aware Of Their Secret Thoughts As Well As Their Closed​​ & Confidential​​ Meetings​​ In Which They Make “Fun” Of The Prophet [SAAS] & His Companions As Well Of Islam. Do They Not Know That Allah (SWT)​​ Is The “All Knowledgeable” Of​​ All Creation”?

الَّذِينَ يَلْمِزُونَ الْمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْ ۙ سَخِرَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ​​ أَلِيمٌ.(79)​​ 

Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them – Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment (79).

​​ 

Those Hypocrites​​ Who Slander​​ The Believers​​ Because They​​ Donate​​ A Small Amount Of​​ Their​​ [Limited]​​ Wealth As Charity,​​ Say That This Is Only a “Meager” Amount Which Allah (SWT)​​ Will Not “Regard”. However, If A Muslim Donates A Large Amount, They Say: This​​ Action​​ Is​​ Simply​​ “Showing Off”!!​​ Allah (SWT) Shall Mock & Ridicule Them And They Will Undergo Grievous Torment [On Judgment Day].

اسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً فَلَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ.(80)

Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times – never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people​​ (80).

Oh Muhammad [SAAS]​​ Whether You Plead Allah (SWT) To Forgive Them Seventy Times​​ Over, Allah (SWT) Will Not Forgive​​ Them.​​ This Is Because The Hypocrites Disbelieved In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger And Allah (SWT) Shall Not Guide The Disobedient & Insubordinate People.

فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُونَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلَافَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ وَكَرِهُوا أَن يُجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَقَالُوا لَا تَنفِرُوا فِي الْحَرِّ ۗ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ أَشَدُّ حَرًّا ۚ لَّوْ كَانُوا يَفْقَهُونَ.(81)

Those who remained behind rejoiced in their staying [at home] after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah and disliked to strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah and said, ‘Do not go forth in the heat.” Say, “The fire of Hell is more intensive in heat” – if they would but understand (81).

Those Hypocrites Who Did Not Join The Messenger [SAAS] In His Campaigns Rejoiced & Were Jubilant For Staying In Their Homes & For Not​​ Striving & Struggling With Their Lives & Wealth In The Path Of Allah (SWT). And They Said:​​ ”Do Not Go Forth In The Heat​​ ”. Say Oh Muhammad [SAAS]: “The Fire Of The Abyss (On Judgement Day) Shall Be More Intensive & All Encompassing, If They Only Comprehend.

فَلْيَضْحَكُوا قَلِيلًا وَلْيَبْكُوا كَثِيرًا جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ.(82)

So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn (82).

And Thus Let The Hypocrites​​ Mock & Ridicule Little & Let Them Sob & Whine A Lot In​​ Compensation Or Reward For What They Were Used To Receive In Earnings.

فَإِن رَّجَعَكَ اللَّهُ إِلَىٰ طَائِفَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوكَ لِلْخُرُوجِ فَقُل لَّن تَخْرُجُوا مَعِيَ أَبَدًا وَلَن تُقَاتِلُوا مَعِيَ عَدُوًّا ۖ إِنَّكُمْ رَضِيتُم بِالْقُعُودِ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ فَاقْعُدُوا مَعَ الْخَالِفِينَ.(83)

If Allah should return you to a faction of them [after the expedition] and then they ask your permission to go out [to battle], say, “You will not go out with me, ever, and you will never fight with me an enemy. Indeed, you were satisfied with sitting [at home] the first time, so sit [now] with those who stay behind”​​ (83).

Thus, Oh Prophet Of Allah (SWT), If Allah (SWT)​​ Happens To Bring You Back To​​ A Faction​​ Of Them [Who Did Not Give Up Hypocrisy]​​ Asking To Join You In A “New Campaign”, Answer Them That “None​​ Of​​ You Shall​​ Ever​​ Join Me In Any Campaign Or Fight Any Enemy”.​​ Since You Preferred To Remain Inactive & At Home”. Thus Remain With​​ The Women,​​ Children,​​ The​​ Elderly​​ &​​ The​​ Sick.​​ ​​ 

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُم مَّاتَ أَبَدًا وَلَا تَقُمْ عَلَىٰ قَبْرِهِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ.(84)

And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died – ever – or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient (84).

And Oh Messenger [SAAS] Do Not Ever Pray A “Burial Prayer” On Any Of The Hypocrites Who Were Killed In Battle Campaigns Lead By​​ You Oh​​ Prophet​​ Of Allah (SWT) & Do Not Ever Stand On His Grave In Honor Of His Burial. This Is​​ Because They Insisted On Their Hypocritical Disbelieve​​ In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS]​​ & Their Intransigence, Defiance & Disobedience.

وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَأَوْلَادُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ.(85)

And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers​​ (85).

Oh Messenger Of Allah (SWT) Do Not Be Tempted Or Attracted Towards The Hypocrite’s Wealth & Offspring. This Is Because Allah (SWT) Wishes To Torment Them In This Lifetime & To Extract Their Souls [Upon Their Death] While They Are Hypocritical Disbelievers.​​ 

وَإِذَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَجَاهِدُوا مَعَ رَسُولِهِ اسْتَأْذَنَكَ أُولُو الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُوا ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ الْقَاعِدِينَ.(86)

And when a surah was revealed [enjoining them] to believe in Allah and to fight with His Messenger, those of wealth among them asked your permission [to stay back] and said, “Leave us to​​ be with them who sit [at home]”​​ (86).

And Thus When A Surah Of The Glorious Qur’an​​ (Surat Al Tawbah)​​ Is Revealed​​ Encouraging & Admonishing Believers To Believe In Allah (SWT) & Fight The Non-Believers Or Hypocrites. Those Who Are Wealthy Ask You Messenger Of Allah (SWT) Not To Go Forth In Combat With You [SAAS] But To Remain At Home With Their Families.

رَضُوا بِأَن يَكُونُوا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ.(87)

They were satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and their hearts were sealed over, so they do not understand (87).

They (The Hypocrites) Accepted Remaining​​ at​​ Home​​ Along With The Women Who Stayed Behind At Their Homes And Their Hearts Were Sealed For They Had No Comprehension Of Their Action.

لَٰكِنِ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مَعَهُ جَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ الْخَيْرَاتُ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ.(88)

But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good, and it is those who are the successful (88).

However, The Messenger [SAAS] And Those Who Believed With Him [SAAS] In Islam, Strove With Their Wealth & Their Lives. And Those Shall Have​​ The Good Deeds And Those Are The Ones Who Shall Achieve & Succeed [In The Hereafter].

أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.(89)

Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the great attainment (89).

Allah (SWT) Has Prepared For Them, Jannat Under Which Magnificent & Luxurious Rivers Flow Eternally & Those Who Enter Abide Forever. That Is The Supreme​​ Success.

وَجَاءَ الْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ وَقَعَدَ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ.(90)

And those with excuses among the bedouins came to be permitted [to remain], and they who had lied to Allah and His Messenger sat [at home]. There will strike those who disbelieved among them a painful punishment (90).

And So Amongst The Badia [Desert] Arabs, Were Other Arabs Who Sought Excuses To Remain At Home. Those Had Lied To Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS]. For This, The Disbelievers Amongst Them Shall Undergo A Painful Torment.

لَّيْسَ عَلَى الضُّعَفَاءِ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرْضَىٰ وَلَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ مَا يُنفِقُونَ حَرَجٌ إِذَا نَصَحُوا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ۚ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْسِنِينَ مِن سَبِيلٍ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ.(91)

There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (91).

There Is No Responsibility Or Accountability On The Weak Or The Sick Or Those Who Cannot Find Any Resources To Spend [In The​​ Path Of Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS]] To Feel​​ Critical & Awkward If They​​ Are Sincere To​​ Allah (SWT) & His Prophet [SAAS] & To The Message Of Islam. For Those Righteous Muslims There Is No Grounds For Complaint Or Blame And Allah (SWT) Is​​ Oft Forgiving & Most Merciful.

وَلَا عَلَى الَّذِينَ إِذَا مَا أَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَا أَجِدُ مَا أَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ تَوَلَّوا وَّأَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا أَلَّا يَجِدُوا مَا يُنفِقُونَ.(92)

Nor [is there blame] upon those who, when they came to you that you might give them mounts, you said, “I can find nothing for you to ride upon.” They turned back while their eyes overflowed with tears out of grief that they could not find something to spend [for the cause of Allah] (92).

And There Happens To Be No Blame Upon Those Who Approach You Oh Muhammad [SAAS] (From​​ Al Ansar,​​ Al Medina​​ Supporters Of Al Muhajireen​​ [Immigrants]​​ From Makkah​​ ) To Provide Them With Mounts To Ride [Along With You], You Responded That You Had Nothing To Offer Them. They Turned Back Crying With Grief & Tears That They Would Not Find Anything To Spend In The Path Of Allah (SWT).​​ 

إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَاءُ ۚ رَضُوا بِأَن يَكُونُوا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ.(93)

The cause [for blame] is only upon those who ask permission of you while they are rich. They are satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and Allah has sealed over their hearts, so they do not know (93).

And Yet The Grounds Of Complaint Were Only Against Those Who Asked For Permission From You Oh Messenger [SAAS] While They Were Wealthy. They Prefer To Remain With Those Who Stay At Home [Senior​​ People, Women & Children]. For This Act, Allah (SWT) Has Sealed Their Hearts So That They Cannot Understand Or Comprehend What They Do.

يَعْتَذِرُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُل لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّأَنَا اللَّهُ مِنْ أَخْبَارِكُمْ ۚ وَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ.(94)

They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say, “Make no excuse – never will we believe you. Allah has already informed us of your news. And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do”(94).

The Hypocrites Shall Apologize To The Believers Who Fought Along Side The Messenger [SAAS] Once They Meet Them. Say Oh Muhammad [SAAS]: “We Shall Not Believe You, Since Allah (SWT)​​ Has Informed Us Through The “Revelation” Of Your Untrue & Insincere Excuses And Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Shall Observe & Monitor Your Actions And All Will Revert To The​​ All Knowledgeable Of The Invisible & Imperceptible- To Allah (SWT)​​ – Who Will​​ Inform And Notify The Hypocrites Of What They Used To Do In Their Lifetimes.

سَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ لَكُمْ إِذَا انقَلَبْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لِتُعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَأَعْرِضُوا عَنْهُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ رِجْسٌ ۖ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ.(95)

They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning (95).

The Hypocrites Will Swear To You Oh Muhammad [SAAS] By Allah (SWT) That You Would Turn Away From Them, Leaving Them Alone. And Thus Turn Away From Them Oh Prophet [SAAS] Since They Are An Abomination​​ (Evil)​​ And Their​​ Dwelling Place Is The Abyss​​ In Restitution & Reparation For What They Had Been Earning & Acquiring In Their Lifetime.

يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَرْضَىٰ عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ(96).

They swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them – indeed, Allah is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people​​ (96).​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ 

The Hypocrites Swear By Allah (SWT) That You Oh Muhammad [SAAS]​​ Will​​ Approve Of Them. And So If You Approve Of Them, Allah (SWT) Shall Not Be Satisfied With An Unjust & Defiant People.​​ ​​ 

الْأَعْرَابُ أَشَدُّ كُفْرًا وَنِفَاقًا وَأَجْدَرُ أَلَّا يَعْلَمُوا حُدُودَ مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ.(97)

The bedouins are stronger in disbelief and hypocrisy and more likely not to know the limits of what [laws] Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is Knowing and Wise (97).

The Desert Arabs Are More Vigorous & Powerful In Blasphemy & Thus Have Little Probability To Know What Allah (SWT) Has Revealed To His Messenger [SAAS] From The Glorious Qur’an & Allah (SWT) Is The Knowledgeable & The Wise.

وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَائِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ.(98)

And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing (98).

And Amongst The Desert Arabs Who Considers His Payments & Donations As A​​ Confiscation & Forfeiture Awaiting For Your Calamity & Tribulation Oh Prophet Of Allah (SWT).​​ The Calamity, Tribulation & Evil Shall Be Onto Them​​ And Allah (SWT) Is The Hearing & Is The Knowledgeable.​​ 

​​ 

وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَّهُمْ ۚ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ.(99)

But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (99).

Whereas Some Of The Desert Arabs Who Believe In Allah (SWT) & The Last Day [The Hereafter]​​ Spend Their Wealth & Donations To Bring Them Closer To Allah (SWT)​​ And Receiving The Supplications Of The Messenger [SAAS]. It Is Thus Undoubtedly A Way To Move Nearer To Them. Hence Allah (SWT) Shall Enter Them Into His Mercy & Acceptance. For Allah (SWT) Is Verily Forgiving & Forbearing.

وَالسَّابِقُونَ الْأَوَّلُونَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنصَارِ وَالَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُم بِإِحْسَانٍ رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي تَحْتَهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.(100)

And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct – Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow,​​ wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment (100).

And Amongst The Early Muslim Immigrants [From Makkah] To Medina [Joined & Al Ansar] & Those Who Followed Them With Descent Intentions, Allah (SWT) Shall Be Happy With Them As They Will Be Pleased With Him Preparing For Them Jannat (Adn) Beneath Which Rivers Flow. That Shall​​ Be The Greatest Realization.

وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مُنَافِقُونَ ۖ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ۖ مَرَدُوا عَلَى النِّفَاقِ لَا تَعْلَمُهُمْ ۖ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ سَنُعَذِّبُهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ عَظِيمٍ.(101)

And among those around you of the bedouins are hypocrites, and [also] from the people of Madinah. They have become accustomed to hypocrisy. You, [O Muhammad], do not know them, [but] We know them. We will punish them twice [in this world]; then they will be returned to a great punishment (101).

And Amongst The Desert Arabs Are Hypocrites As Well As Residence Of Al Medina Al Munawwarah​​ Who Became Used To Being Hypocrites. You, Oh Muhammad [SAAS] Are Unaware Of Them. We (SWT) However, Know Them And​​ Shall Thus​​ Be Tormented Twice In This World Lifetime, Only To Be Returned To A Great Torment On Judgement Day.

وَآخَرُونَ اعْتَرَفُوا بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُوا عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَآخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ.(102)

And [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful (102).

And – On The Contrary – There Are Other Believers Who Admitted & Conceded Their Sins & Wrongs With Their Righteous Deeds. May Allah (SWT) Forgive Them For He (SWT) Is The​​ Omni​​ Forgiver & Merciful.

خُذْ مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ إِنَّ صَلَاتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَّهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ.(103)

Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [Allah’s Blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing (103).

Oh Muhammad [SAAS]​​ Take From Their Personal Wealth Alms, Handouts & Donations Through Which You Clean & Cleanse Them And Pray On Their Behalf. Verily Your​​ Prayers Restore & Bolster Their Confidence [In Islam & In You Prophet Of Islam [SAAS]].

أَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَأْخُذُ الصَّدَقَاتِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.(104)

Do they not know that it is Allah who accepts repentance from His servants and receives charities and that it is Allah who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful? (104).

Are They Not Aware That Allah (SWT) Is The Ultimate Creator Who Accepts Repentance & Contrition From His Servant Believers & Receives Alms, Donations & Charities And It Is He (SWT) Who Is The Ultimate Acceptor Of Repentance.

وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ.(105)

And say, “Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do” (105).

And Say, Oh Muhammad [SAAS]​​ – To Those Muslim Believers Who Have Repented – Act Righteously & Allah (SWT), His Messenger [SAAS] & The Believers,​​ Shall Observe Your Deeds & You Shall​​ (All) Revert To The All Knowledgeable Of The Unseen & The All Observer​​ & Watcher, Who Shall Tell You Of What You Used To Do In Your Worldly Lifetime.

وَآخَرُونَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَإِمَّا يَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ.(106)

And [there are] others deferred until the command of Allah – whether He will punish them or whether He will forgive them. And Allah is Knowing and Wise (106).

​​  ​​​​ 

And Those Were Three Of The Ansar, Namely: Ka’ab Bin Malik, Hilal Bin Omayyah & Mararah Bin Al Rabe’a. For These Three Muslims The​​ Decree Of Allah (SWT) Was​​ Postponed. Either He (SWT) Will Punish Them Or Forgive Them. And Allah Is The Knowledgeable & The Wise.

وَالَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَكُفْرًا وَتَفْرِيقًا بَيْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَإِرْصَادًا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ إِنْ أَرَدْنَا إِلَّا الْحُسْنَىٰ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ.(107)

And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they will surely swear, “We intended only the best.” And Allah testifies that indeed they are liars​​ (107).

And There Are Those Hypocrites Who Obtain A Mosque For Themselves Aimed At Causing Mischief & Infidelity To Disunite The Believers (From Islam & The Prophet Of Islam [SAAS]).​​ This Mosque Was Taken As An “Observation Post” For The Hypocrites Who Had​​ Went To War Against Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS] Previously. And They Admittedly Take An Oath:” We Only Aspired & Planned The Best”. And Allah (SWT) Attested That They Were Indeed Liars.

لَا تَقُمْ فِيهِ أَبَدًا ۚ لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوَىٰ مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِ ۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُوا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ​​ ​​ الْمُطَّهِّرِينَ.(108)

Do not stand [for prayer] within it – ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand​​ in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves (108).

Oh Mohammad [SAAS] Do Not Stand – At All – For Prayers In The Mosque Of The “Hypocrites”.​​ Alternatively,​​ A Mosque Founded On Piety & Righteousness From The First Day [Of Its Inauguration]​​ Is​​ More Worthy Of You Leading Prayers Therein. In This Pious Mosque Are Men (Believers) Who Love To Purify Themselves And Allah (SWT) Loves Those Who Purify Themselves.

أَفَمَنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهُ عَلَىٰ تَقْوَىٰ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضْوَانٍ خَيْرٌ أَم مَّنْ أَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهُ عَلَىٰ شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍ فَانْهَارَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ.(109)

Then is one who laid the foundation of his building on righteousness [with fear] from Allah and [seeking] His approval better or one who laid the foundation of his building on the edge of a bank about to collapse, so it collapsed with him into the fire of Hell? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people (109).

Therefore, Whosoever Has Founded His Under Structure & Footing On Righteousness & Piety Towards Allah (SWT)​​ Requesting​​ His Blessing​​ Preferable & Better Than He Who Erects His Building Foundation On The Edge Of A Sand Cliff Ready To Collapse To Pieces, Into The Fire Of The Abyss? And Allah (SWT) Shall Not Guide The Unjust (Hypocrite) Folk.

لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِي بَنَوْا رِيبَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ إِلَّا أَن تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ.(110)

Their building which they built will not cease to be a [cause of] skepticism in their hearts until their hearts are stopped. And Allah is Knowing and Wise (110).

​​ ​​ 

The Mosque Of The Hypocrites Which They Had Built Shall Not Stop Their​​ Sceptics & Doubters In Their Hearts, Until Their Hearts Are “Cut Into Pieces” And Allah (SWT) Is The Knowledgeable & Wise.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ۚ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ ۚ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِي بَايَعْتُم بِهِ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ.(111)

Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment (111).

​​ 

Verily, Allah (SWT) Has​​ Procured & Acquired From The Muslim Believers Their Soules, Wealth & Properties That They Shall Get Jannah. They Combat For The Sake & Cause Of Allah (SWT), Killing (The Disbelievers & Hypocrites) & Getting Killed (In The Jihad For Allah (SWT)). This Is A Real & Genuine Promise From Him (SWT) In The​​ Three Holy Revelations:​​ The Jewish​​ Tawra, The​​ Christian​​ Injeel​​ [Gospel]​​ & The Glorious Qur’an.​​ And Who But Allah (SWT) Is The More Genuine & Faithful In His Covenant. Therefore,​​ ​​ 

Be Happy & Delighted​​ In The Deal & Bargain Which You Have Concluded. And That Is The Greatest Success.

التَّائِبُونَ الْعَابِدُونَ الْحَامِدُونَ السَّائِحُونَ الرَّاكِعُونَ السَّاجِدُونَ الْآمِرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّاهُونَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَالْحَافِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.(112)

[Such believers are] the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah ], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah . And give good tidings to the believers (112).

The Qualities Of The (Ultimate) Muslim Believers Are The Repentant, Those Who Worship Him (SWT), Wander In Devotion To Him (SWT), Those Bowing & Prostrating To Allah (SWT) And Those Enjoining Piety & Righteousness And Forbidding Wrong & Evil And Those Observing The Limits​​ Ascribed By Allah (SWT). And [Oh Muhammad [SAAS]] Give The Believing Muslims Glad Tidings (For Their Actions).

​​ 

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن يَسْتَغْفِرُوا لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا أُولِي قُرْبَىٰ مِن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ.(113)

It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire (113).

It Was Not For The Prophet Muhammad [SAAS] & Those Who Submitted To Islam Along With Him​​ To Ask Allah (SWT) For Forgiveness For The Polytheists Even If They Were Of Relationship To The Believers Subsequent To Knowing That Those Polytheists (Of Makkah & Al Medina) Were Companions Of The Hellfire.  ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​ ​​​​ 

​​ وَمَا كَانَ اسْتِغْفَارُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوْعِدَةٍ وَعَدَهَا إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ أَنَّهُ عَدُوٌّ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُ ۚ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لَأَوَّاهٌ حَلِيمٌ.(114)

And the request of forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became apparent to Abraham that his father was an enemy to Allah, he disassociated himself from him. Indeed was Abraham compassionate and patient​​ (114).

And The Invocation & Appeal Of Prophet Ibraheem [AS] For Forgiveness For​​ His Father Was Only Because Of A Promise Made To Him. And So Upon Knowing That His Father Was A Challenger, Competitor & Antagonist To​​ Allah (SWT) He Detached & Disconnected Himself From​​ His​​ Father. Prophet Ibraheem [AS] Was Indeed Sympathetic, Empathetic & Forbearing.

وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَاهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُبَيِّنَ لَهُم مَّا يَتَّقُونَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ.(115)

And Allah would not let a people stray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should avoid. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things (115).

And Allah (SWT) Would Not Have A Folk Misguided After He Had Guided Them​​ (To Islam)​​ Until He (SWT) Clarifies What They Should​​ Avert & Bypass. Allah (SWT) Is Verily Knowledgeable Of All His Creation.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۚ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ.(116)

Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper (116).

Verily, To Allah (SWT) Belongs The Dominion Of The Heavens & The Earth And It Is He (SWT) Who Grants Life And Takes It Away. And You Humankind Have No Protector, Guardian Or Custodian Without The Grace & Might Of Allah (SWT).

لَّقَد تَّابَ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنصَارِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ فِي سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِن بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيغُ قُلُوبُ فَرِيقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِهِمْ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ.(117)

Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the Muhajireen and the Ansar who followed him in the hour of difficulty after the hearts of a party of them had almost inclined [to doubt], and then He forgave them. Indeed, He was to them Kind and Merciful​​ (117).

Thus Allah (SWT) Has Forgiven The Prophet Muhammad [SAAS] And The Muhajireen & Al Ansar (See Ayah 92: Al Tawbah) Who Followed Him [SAAS] In​​ The Times Of Difficulty & Distress Subsequent To A Faction Of Them Who Were Inclined To Doubt Islam & His Messenger [SAAS]. Thence He [SAAS] Forgave (The Doubters) For He Indeed The Humane Prophet Who Was To Them Benignant & Merciful.

وَعَلَى الثَّلَاثَةِ الَّذِينَ خُلِّفُوا حَتَّىٰ إِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّوا أَن لَّا مَلْجَأَ مِنَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوبُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.(118)

And [He also forgave] the three who were left behind [and regretted their error] to the point that the earth closed in on them in spite of its vastness and their souls confined them and they were certain that there is no refuge from Allah except in Him. Then He turned to them so they could repent. Indeed, Allah is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful (118).

And He [SAAS] Also Forgave Those Three Muslim Believers From Al Ansar Of Medina (See Ayah 106 From Al Tawbah) Who Stayed Behind The Campaign Of The Prophet [SAAS] But Who Were Sorry For Their Actions. Their Regret & Guilt Was To Such An Extent That The Earth Despite Its Spaciousness And Their Very Souls Seemed Reformed, They Perceived That There Was No Refuge From Allah (SWT)​​ Other Than In Him. He (SWT) Then Turned To Them For Their Repentance. Verily, Allah (SWT) Is The Only Accepting Deity Of Repentance, The All-Merciful Creator.

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ.(119)

O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are true​​ (119).

Oh You Who Have Believed [In Allah (SWT) & His Messenger [SAAS]] Have Piety [In Your Hearts] & Be Amongst The Sincere & Truthful.

مَا كَانَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُم مِّنَ الْأَعْرَابِ أَن يَتَخَلَّفُوا عَن رَّسُولِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَرْغَبُوا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ عَن نَّفْسِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيبُهُمْ ظَمَأٌ وَلَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا مَخْمَصَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَطَئُونَ مَوْطِئًا يَغِيظُ الْكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُونَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُم بِهِ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ.(120)

It was not [proper] for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins that they remain behind after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah or that they prefer themselves over his self. That is because they are not afflicted by thirst or fatigue or hunger in the cause of Allah, nor do they tread on any ground that enrages the disbelievers, nor do they inflict upon an enemy any infliction but that is registered for them as a righteous deed. Indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of the doers of good (120).

It Was Not Appropriate For The Residents Of Al Medina Al Munawwarah & For The Nearby Desert Arabs​​ (Such As Mazyan, Juhainah & Ash’ja’)​​ To Stay Behind, Thus Refusing To Join​​ The​​ Messenger [SAAS]​​ In​​ Al Jihad,​​ Nor To Prefer Their Own Lives Over​​ His [SAAS], Since Nothing They Suffer​​ [Hunger, Thirst,​​ Fatigue​​ Or Injury]​​ Or Do For The Sake Of Allah (SWT)​​ Or Trod On Paths​​ To Terrify & Frighten The Disbelievers Which Was Reckoned To Their Credit As A Righteous Deed. Verily, Allah (SWT)​​ Shall Not​​ Permit The Loss Of​​ The Kind, Benevolent & The Veracious Deeds Of His Just & Righteous Believers.

وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ نَفَقَةً صَغِيرَةً وَلَا كَبِيرَةً وَلَا يَقْطَعُونَ وَادِيًا إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ.(121)

Nor do they spend an expenditure, small or large, or cross a valley but that it is registered for them that Allah may reward them for the best of what they were doing (121).

And Neither Do (The Believers Mentioned In The Previous: Ayah 121)​​ Spend A Small Nor A Large Personal​​ Charity Or Donation​​ [For Islam], Or Traverse A Valley That Allah (SWT) Inscribes The Deed In Their Name & Credit Them With The Ultimate Recompense For What They Were​​ Achieving.

وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنفِرُوا كَافَّةً ۚ فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَائِفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوا فِي الدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ.(122)

And it is not for the believers to go forth [to battle] all at once. For there should separate from every division of them a group [remaining] to obtain understanding in the religion and warn their people when they return to them that they might be cautious​​ (122).

​​ ​​ ​​ 

And​​ It​​ Was Not For​​ All​​ The Believers​​ [Of Al Medina Al Munawwarah]​​ To​​ Move Forth For Jihad Along With The Messenger [SAAS]. However, A Faction From Each Remaining Group Should Be Involved With Learning The Glorious Qur’an The Honorable Sunnah And To Warn Their Returning Medina Residence To Be More Understanding Of The Practise Of Islam & Thus Guard Believers Against Evil Actions​​ [Of Disbelieves].

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَاتِلُوا الَّذِينَ يَلُونَكُم مِّنَ الْكُفَّارِ وَلْيَجِدُوا فِيكُمْ غِلْظَةً ۚ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ.(123)

O you who have believed, fight those adjacent to you of the disbelievers and let them find in you harshness. And know that Allah is with the righteous (123).

Oh You Who Have Believed Combat Those Close & Adjacent To You From The Disbelievers And Let The Find In You​​ [Believers]​​ Firmness​​ & Roughness. And Be Informed & Aware That Allah (SWT) Is On The Side Of The Pious Believers.

وَإِذَا مَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هَٰذِهِ إِيمَانًا ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَزَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَهُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ.(124)

And whenever a surah is revealed, there are among the hypocrites those who say, “Which of you has this increased faith?” As for those who believed, it has increased them in faith, while they are rejoicing (124).

 ​​​​  ​​​​ 

And If & When A Surah Is Revealed From The Glorious Qur’an,​​ Then Some Hypocrite Nonbelievers Would Say Who Amongst You Believers​​ [Has This Revelation Increased Their Eman?] The Believers Would Reply That Their Eman Increased Their Happiness, Gladness & Jubilation.

وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَتْهُمْ رِجْسًا إِلَىٰ رِجْسِهِمْ وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ.(125)

But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it has [only] increased them in evil [in addition] to their evil. And they will have died while they are disbelievers​​ (125).

​​ ​​ 

Whereas For Those Who Have Illness &​​ Diseased Hearts, Then The Qur’an Revelation Has Increased Their Abomination & Evil Attitude, Meeting Their Death While They Were Disbelievers. ​​ 

أَوَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُمْ يُفْتَنُونَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوبُونَ وَلَا هُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ.(126)

Do they not see that they are tried every year once or twice but then they do not repent nor do they remember? (126).

Do The Disbelieving Hypocrites Not See That They Are​​ Put Through A Trial Or Tribulation Every Year Once Or Twice. They Nevertheless Do Not Repent Or Even Remember.

وَإِذَا مَا أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ نَّظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ هَلْ يَرَاكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ ثُمَّ انصَرَفُوا ۚ صَرَفَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُونَ.(127)

And whenever a surah is revealed, they look at each other, [saying], “Does anyone see you?” and then they dismiss themselves. Allah has dismissed their hearts because they are a people who do not understand (127).

And If & When A Surah From The Glorious Qur’an Is Revealed​​ [To The Prophet [SAAS]]​​ The Hypocrite Disbelievers Would Look At Each Other Saying:”​​ Does Anybody Of​​ The Believers Observe You? They​​ Then​​ Reject Refuse & Deny The Place Were​​ Al Wahi (Jibreel [AS]):​​ (The Holy Spirit)​​ Descends Upon The Messenger [SAAS]. They Then Turn Away​​ Claiming That​​ They As Disbelievers Cannot Believe What The Messenger [SAAS] Is Professing Through The Glorious Qur’an & The Honorable Prophetic Sunnah. They Go Home​​ Only To Be Sarcastic, Cynical & Mocking Of Islam & His Messenger [SAAS]. Allah (SWT) Has “Turned Away” Their Hearts Since They Are People Who Have No Comprehension.

لَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُم بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيم.(128)

There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you and to the believers is kind and merciful (128).

​​ 

A Messenger​​ From Amongst Yourselves​​ Has Come To You.​​ Dear To His Heart Is Your Grief & Hardship. To The Believers He Is Benignant & Merciful.

فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ.(129)

But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, “Sufficient for me is Allah ; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.” (129).

Thus If They Turn Their Backs To You Oh Muhammad [SAAS], Say: “Adequate & Appropriate For Me Is Allah (SWT)”. There Is No God But He (SWT). On Him (SWT) I Have Placed My Reliance & Dependence & He Is The Deity Of Great Throne.​​
